Sarah Thomas Kovoor

I trusted Sarah with my life when I suddenly found myself in a terrifying situation that had life-changing ramifications. She delivered, and then some. It is my personal experience with Ms.Kovoor that gives me the up close and personal factual kowledge to provide this review. If you consider a case with KOVOOR, keep the good records, document everything, discuss whom is going to be paying for what and most important get everything in writing !...!! In my opinion Ms.Kovoor failed the following; possess the legal knowledge, thoroughness and skill to provide ME with competent representation, and did NOT make all necessary reasonable preparations for trial or negotiations the defense knew it. I write in hopes NO one has to experience what I had to endure, my life has been forever changed because of it.

After speaking with numerous attorneys about a very delicate situation involving my child, I came across Sarah. From the first call to her assistant, I felt that my child would be in good hands with Sarah and I knew she was the attorney I wanted to hire. My husband was arrested on a Friday evening and I did not think that I would find an attorney for the Monday morning arraignment over the weekend. But not only did I speak to Sarah Kovoor several times on Sunday but I also spoke to her paralegal Robin, which gave me an appreciated easiness about the... Monday court appearance. The charges against my husband included a Misdemeanor Domestic Violence charge and a Felony Menacing charge. Sarah, knew the law and requested a dismissal of the charges based on lack of evidence for the one charge and wrongful filling on the second charge. There is a little more to it, but both charges have subsequently been dismissed. But I also want to speak of Sarah's integrity. Most attorneys that I have had involvement with have been 'bottom line' attorneys. All they are interested in is the biggest payday and that's who they give their priority to. We were not Sarah's biggest payday (she actually charged us much less than we were expecting) but she still made us feel valuable and important and we felt like our case was of the highest priority to her. All of our emails and calls were answered timely and she and Robin never seemed irritated no matter how many times that we called with questions. Sarah is a GREAT asset to have on your side if you are looking for an attorney that fights for the truth and doesn't take the easy way out.
