Overcharged and ignored
I had a free consultation with Mr. Thompson after first meeting I felt that I could move forward with him. We spent a part of the of my time talking about general things. Replied last August 26, 2016A foreclosure was filed by a contractor after Ms. Mitchell refused to pay. Their attorney refused to settle due to Ms Mitchell's broken promises to pay and claims the contractor didn't do the work, didn’t do quality work and talking to them in a degrading manner. She hired us. She said she needed 10-30 days to get a loan to pay off the debt. We got her 90. We worked at least 4-5 hours drafting, filing and arguing a motion, wrote letters, and made phone calls and charged her 500 dollars. We did our work perfectly and obtained over and above the results she requested. She felt entitled to a refund, wanted us to do additional work for free and spoke to us in the same degrading manner she did with the contractor. We have since allowed her the opportunity to find another attorney.
