Heather Ellis Banks is an Associate Attorney of Bond, Botes & Lawson, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee. Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2000. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2004 and was admitted to practice law in November 2004. Heather worked for Bond, Botes & Lawson, P.C. from May 2005 to March 2011 and left for a few years to work as a staff attorney for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee. She returned to private practice at Bond, Botes & Lawson in November 2015.

Heather is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Tennessee and all courts in the State of Tennessee. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. As part of the Knoxville Bar Association, Heather volunteers with the Debt Relief Legal Advice Clinic to offer pro bono legal services to those in need. Heather is married to her husband, Brandon, and is a proud mom to a son and two daughters.

Life can be difficult for many people due to finances. I often see them at their lowest. I empathize with their heartache and appreciate that I can help them get back on their feet financially.
