Merideth Drummond is an Associate Attorney concentrating in the areas of bankruptcy and social security law in the Jackson, Vicksburg and Hattiesburg, Mississippi offices of Bond, Botes & Woods, P.C.. Merideth completed her undergraduate education at Smith College, Northampton, MA where she earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government in 1993. Merideth received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 1998. She was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1998 and has continuously engaged in the practice of law since that time. Merideth is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, all federal courts in the State of Mississippi, the Supreme Court of Mississippi and all trial courts in the State of Mississippi. Merideth is a member of the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference. She has also been a speaker at various Social Security law workshops.

Favorite local restaurant
Frateis is one of my favorite local restaurants because I love the food and the people. One of my favorite dishes is the baked ziti and any of the deserts. I know the owner and most of the waiters/waitresses and it has become a home away from home.

What I like best about my job
Previously, I represented mortgage companies and often had to foreclose or evict people from their homes. Often these people had procrastinated so that there was no assistance that I could give them. In representing debtors, I now take the knowledge I have from my mortgage company representation to help people resolve their debt problems and save their homes.
