Jason Wade Barnette

I hired Jason Barnette to handle an unemployment claim for me back in 2015. I should have known that something wasn't right about this lawyer because no one ever answered the phone at the office number. He only liked to communicate via email, but I did speak to him on the phone once or twice. I sent ...him $500 to his pay pal account and he never responded back to me and he didn't handle the unemployment claim (my case). I never heard from him again. Now I see why. He was already disbarred and/or suspended while still taking money from people. I should have known to look at the Bar Association and reviews first before I hired him. He was practicing as a lawyer after he had lost his attorney license. I didn't follow up because my life was in a shamble at that time and I didn't think to notify the Bar Association to report him. What a shameful thing to do. He had a so-call assistant name J. Huffman, but I believe it was him using another email account developed by him. I just ran across emails with pay pal receipt from him. I kept everything in my email. Therefore, I have proof with dates and he should not have been practicing. It was a lesson learned. I hired Mr. Barnette for an employment matter as well as a debt collection matter. My business had gone south around 2009 and a former employee filed a EEOC complaint. While the EEOC found no cause, the ex employee sued me anyway. Mr. Barnette got the case dismissed and attorney's fees. Next, there w...ere many creditors, collection agencies and bad debt buyers suing me. He got most of those cases dismissed outright and negotiated very favorable settlements with the few creditors that didn't dismiss. He got all of the items removed from my credit reports and kept me out of bankruptcy. He's very busy and it may take him a day or two to respond, but he's upfront, polite, and not like the typical attorney. He doesn't claim to have a magic wand and he conducts himself just like a normal Joe for all intents and purposes.

I hired Mr. Barnette because I was sued by Midland Funding, Portfolio Recovery, and Cavalry SPV I. He got the General Sessions cases with Cavalry and Portfolio dismissed and got them off my credit reports. Midland was more difficult - he had to actually sue them, but he didn't charge me anything ex...tra. He got that case dismissed, got them off my reports and got a little money for me as well which basically covered what I paid him to begin with. He always returned my calls and emails in a timely fashion. He in my opinion is not the typical lawyer. He doesn't seem to particularly like what the legal system has become and will tell you as much. He's not out to get rich. He seems to actually want to help people in financial trouble. He told me upfront about everything and that's basically how it played out. He is a devout Catholic and will tell you as much if that means anything to anyone. Again, he's just not the normal lawyer. He actually cares. I would recommend him to anyone and I have. Very good attorney and a kind man.

I hired Mr. Barnett to represent me in a Midland Financial issue and on the day I was suppose to be in court he told me that I didn't need to be there, that he had everything under control. Needless to say, he didn't show up either so the judge was in favor of Midland Financial!!! Sounds like to me t...hat Mr. Barnett might be working for Midland Financial!!! He won't return my calls or my emails. All he has done is caused something to be put on my credit report that DIDNT BELONG TO ME to start with!!!! Do not hire this man!!!!

Jason Wade Barnett attorney is the most honest attorney I have ever dealt with. He told me upfront he might or might not be able to remove debt, but thought he could win for me. He spent hours talking to me anytime I asked him, because I was afraid of which attorney to choose. Thank God I chose Jason... Wade Barnette in Nashville, TN, because he won everything in my favor. Jason's fees were very reasonable. He always returned every phone call or email instantly back to me asap, usually within five minutes. If you don't choose Jason you are making a big mistake.
