Disappointing

I was referred to Mr. Henry through my Employee Assistance Program at work for up to one hour of legal advice for free. I called Mr. Henry’s office to ask him some questions as to how to correctly submit evidence for a hearing for contempt of a domestic violence order. Mr. Henry, himself, answered t...he phone and after explaining what I needed, he said ok, let’s talk. This kind of took me aback as I was on the last few minutes of my lunch break, and expecting to set up a time for a future meeting. When I explained this to him, he replied that we could just go ahead and talk until I was no longer able and then we would see if it was necessary to finish the session at another time. I reluctantly agreed, even though I had no privacy as I was at work. Mr Henry asked very few questions about my case and told me he’d never done a contempt of DVO in Bullitt county. He seemed pretty uninterested in the details of my case in general and told me that I didn’t need him to represent me (I never asked him to) for something I could do myself. As to how to correctly submit the evidence, I was told to follow the direction given by the victims advocates office and asked if there were any more questions. It took a total of 4 minutes for me to understand that he was completely uncaring and put out by this free service and that my case in fact, did not matter at all. When I pointed out to him the fact that I was supposed to have a one hour session he said yeah, but if ya don’t need it, why take it? He also repeated a couple of times that I had “up to” an hour. I’d heard enough. I had zero trust in him at all. I said I think we’re done here, thanks, and hung up. I reported him to my EAP program and thankfully am getting set up with someone else. Unacceptable. I definitely do not recommend this “professional”

great attorney

i hired mr. henry after pulling my case from a former attorney who had my case for a year and nothing was being done. (tcpa) case. i gave mr. henry my case, and within a month it was settled in my favor to my satisfaction. mr. henry is easy to talk to, takes the time to explain things, and then take...s charge of your case. everyone in his office is pleasant. he gets back to you in a timely manner too. yes i would recommend him.
