I knew nothing about setting up a trust, living will, etc but needed to after the death of my husband. I researched Renee on line and set up an appointment to start the discussion. The first meeting was friendly, thorough and quite professional but without the stuffiness you would expect when talki...

She was hired to help sign family documents. This meeting was not held at an office due to C19, instead, scheduled at her home. Prior to the meeting, it was discussed that both parties would be wearing masks during the signing. Upon arrival she was not prepared; had to go back inside to "find a mask"...
As is often the case, each party has their own view of an event. During our several conversations prior to the signing, you treated me consistently with disdain and condescension, as though I were your servant and not an equal or an advisor. I always treated you civilly and with respect, which was never reciprocated. Your recounting of the event is neither complete nor accurate. Several of the things you detail never even happened. You fail to note that you started calling me names and disparaging my reputation as soon as I politely pointed out that we couldn't sign papers outside with winds gusting to 20 mph. You began to berate and bully me. You pushed me past my breaking point. I had invited you, as a guest, to my home, but you failed to show the common courtesy of a guest. If I could go back in time, I would have found a more graceful way to ask you to leave my premises and never return.

Ms. Nesbit first and foremost is very interested in her fee and doing as little work as possible for it. She is very quick to bill the client (the invoice arrives with the rough drafts) but is unwilling to listen to the client- I hired her to provide trust and will documents and all I received was "...
Thank you for your review. We were never on the same page. You were interested in a bare-bones set of documents. I only prepare documents that provide full legal coverage to my clients, to make sure that they are fully protected. I provided you with all the drafts of the documents. We parted ways when I refused to gut most of the protection out of my documents. I do bill 1/2 of my fee when I provide my drafts, as I put in many hours meeting with my clients and preparing the drafts. It’s a protection for me, in case the client decides to use my drafts on their own, without paying me for the finalization and signing of the documents. In your case, I even made an exception, at your request, and only received 1/3 of my fee from you. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

She redid my Will and Trust for my House. Did a great job. She works with her Accountant Husband who did my Tax Returns this Year. Good Combination :-)
"I have known Renee for many years. She is a very good, knowledgeable, and hard working attorney. I would highly endorse her for Probate and Estate Planning matters. It is a pleasure to work with her on some matters where we may have mutual clients, etc. She is a good person who cares abut getting good outcomes for her clients."
"Our Firm has referred several client to Renee. The clients have thanked us and spoke of her professionalism, responsiveness and caring attitude. She is knowledgeable in the estate planning area and is also licensed in the State of Michigan, which gives her additional advantage when dealing with our clients from Michigan. I have no hesitation in endorsing her."
"I practice law exclusively in Michigan, but have many clients with property in Florida. I refer all my client's real estate matters to Renee Nesbit to be correctly, properly and professionally handled in Florida. Ms. Nesbit completes all work promptly, answers all of my questions, and will deal with my clients independently if asked. They are happy to have someone they can trust as many spend half the year in this state! I absolutely trust Ms. Nesbitt to handle my clients legal work in the same manner I would do myself, and have every confidence that the work will be done correctly when I make the referral to her. She has never disappointed me or a client. I would be at a loss if I did not have Renee to depend on,"
