Jean Paul is the best attornery I've ever met. Jean paul has been my attornery for 7 years. The first case Jean Paul had of mine was 14 counts off possession of a firearm by a delinquent act felon. I was looking at 33years in prison. Jean Paul got all my charges reduced to one count of attempt to pos...ses a firearm. It is my opinion that Jean-Paul Galasso is possibly the greatest attorney SWFL has to offer. He defended in me in a criminal battery/touch/strike case with my ex that snowballed into a paternity case in which I temporarily and unjustly lost custody of my 4-year-old son in civil court. Afterwards, I r...eturned to Jean-Paul and asked him to come on the case to help get my son back. It was a nearly impossible task as my ex had employed 3 attorneys from a big name law firm in town, as well as key witnesses in his back pocket, but most importantly, the judge had already made his ruling. Other attorneys were convinced the judge would keep the child with the father until the supplemental petition trial. Although things seemed hopeless, Jean-Paul's tireless effort, strategic planning and execution in court convinced the judge to reverse his emergency order to terminate timesharing and return the child immediately. There are no words to express my feelings of joy and gratitude that day, but it was because of this attorney that I have my son back home. I would recommend him to anyone who has a criminal or family law case no matter how big or small. If anyone has a parental alienation case like mine, you will want this attorney for sure! JP Galasso did a great job in defending me. I was wrongfully accused of DUI in a minor fender-bender at 6:00am. The arresting officer refused to believe that I was not under the influence of anything except coffee. After agreeing to a breathilizer test and a urine test, I spent 8 hours in jail. When ...I got out and told Mr. Gallasso my story, he was very confident that the officer had no evidence. Anyway, All charges were dismissed for lack of evidence. Then the officer wanted to change the charge to reckless op, JP explained why that wasn't a valid charge. That was also dismissed by the Asst DA. After it was all over, JP could have asked for more money. But he assured me that the initial payment was to see the case all the way through. His fees were very reasonable. He is very knowledgeable about the law and believes in his clients.
