Atty. Galasso is the best defense lawyer in the area. I was facing charges for striking an officer, while handcuffed, with my elbow, as he escorted me to his patrol unit. In fact, the officer struck me, I only walked willingly. The cover up was wicked, yet after 2 long years and the destruction of... my family, Mr. Galasso was able to show the truth to the Jury, and the cape coral police department did not get away with it. They did however escape the police brutality case, as the court date took so long, the statute had run out. The officer that hit me in the back of the head, never did show up for court. Mr. Galasso is very honest, and has a way to see through corruption. I recommended him to any family or friends that are in need of an excellent lawyer. The jury listened to him, and he made sense of the entire ridiculous case. The entire story is quite long, and the numerous times I was tazed for no reason, but the bottom line is he is a great guy you can trust. I meet Mr. Galasso for the first time 2 years ago. My son and I are from Indiana and while my son was on spring break in Ft. Myers he was arrested. Not knowing anyone in the Ft. Myers area, my son found Mr. Galasso thru his bail bondsman. Looking back now along this 2 year journey with my son and ...Mr. Galasso, I could not have asked for anyone better than to have Mr. Galasso represent my son. Mr. Galasso ALWAYS answered our questions, answered our calls, answered our emails and was always very direct as to what was to be expected of my son as his legal process progressed. In addition to this , at the time of my son's arrest my son was being held without release after bond was posted due to paperwork misplacement. Mr. Galasso knowing all paperwork was in place took the time well after working hours (7pm) to go to the jail and have my son released immediately. I was in Indiana at this time so I could not have been more grateful for Mr. Galasso's immediate presence in my absence. I had the privilege of meeting J. P. Galasso when he was a state attorney and he later transitioned to the defense side of the law. Mr. Galasso has represented my family in several different cases. He has always done a phenomenal job in his representation. He's kind, knowledgeable and very tender ...hearted. He's the best attorney I've ever been in contact with. His line of communicate is always open any day and time; he really cares about the well being of his clients and puts forth his best to claim their innocence and get them a fair deal. JP Galasso did a great job in defending me. I was wrongfully accused of DUI in a minor fender-bender at 6:00am. The arresting officer refused to believe that I was not under the influence of anything except coffee. After agreeing to a breathilizer test and a urine test, I spent 8 hours in jail. When ...I got out and told Mr. Gallasso my story, he was very confident that the officer had no evidence. Anyway, All charges were dismissed for lack of evidence. Then the officer wanted to change the charge to reckless op, JP explained why that wasn't a valid charge. That was also dismissed by the Asst DA. After it was all over, JP could have asked for more money. But he assured me that the initial payment was to see the case all the way through. His fees were very reasonable. He is very knowledgeable about the law and believes in his clients.
