Philip Averbuck

Atty. Averbuck personnifies the very best in dealing with court matters in a way that a lay person can understand. He shares how he plans to proceed, (i.e.) his down to earth, common sense approach for the necessary strategies & tactics. He was able to take the facts that I provided him and go befor...e the Judge to prove my innocence, w/o me having to be present. For all who may have ever been in a "traffic court," this can be a daunting task; notwithstanding, he prevailed.

I met Mr.Averbuck back in 2000 When He was assigned by the court to represent me....He was a Public Defender. Even today after 13 years I still talk about Him.,He is very honest & trustworthy, kept me informed, and always made me feel comfortable. Just recently I needed Him to represent me at my firs...t appearance.I called Him at the last minute.We talked about my situation, and monday morning He was there and at a reasonable rate too! I couldn't say enough nice things about Mr.Averbuck. You'd be missing out if you didn't atleast give him a try..: )

My driver license is revoked for life for drinking and driving. I got caught driving and was facing a year and a day in the Polk County Jail. I decided to hire Mr. Philip Averbuck. I live over an hour away from Polk County and can't drive so I signed a waiver of appearance and let him handle it all. ...When I finally had to make an appearance in court, the state offered me 4 months in jail with fines and court cost. He didn't accept it. Approximately a month had passed and he called me to tell me he had gotten it reduced to no jail time, six months probation and 50 hours of community service but I'd have to come down there to do it. I was hoping I could get it all transferred up to here but I wasn't going to press the issue, but Averbuck knowing I didn't have a license or car, obviously worked on my case even more and when I went back to court for the sentencing, he got it knocked down to still no jail time, six months unsupervised probation that I can mail the payments in to them including early release after I pay off everything and able to buy out half of my community service and serve the other half up here where I live. I was extremely happy with this outcome. Not only is Mr. Averbuck a very friendly and likable person, He Likes To Win and he does!

I retianed Attorney Averbuck for a charge of failing to notify of change of address in 30 days( I got stopped while moving from one home to another)! I offered for Atty. Averbuck to negotiate a payment of ticket with no misdemeanor on my record. He said "You are not wrong.. I appreciate the offer.....But, I will fight this" He did his homework (really spent time on the case). Told me his strategy and he had scenarios a, b, and C (my offer to pay a ticket but no criminal offense). Final result... Case thrown out of court! This Attorney sets a new standard... And he is "Not too busy" to follow up.

Mr. Averbuck did a wonderful job. He believed in my case and me. He kept me informed and never stopped fighting for what I wanted and deserved. He and his associate Carole were always available to answer any questions and were quick to reassure me and my wife when thing got drawn out. I have never ha...d to deal with this sort of thing and it was great to have someone who was knowledgable where I was ignorant. Thank heavens for all the help Mr. Averbuck gave me. I hope I never need this type of legal help again but if I do I will not hesitate to call Mr. Averbuck again. Thank you for all that you were able to accomplish on my behalf.
