OUTCOME: Not Guilty of Burglary and Grand Theft

Defendant was charged with armed burglary and grand theft, including stealing a firearm from the victim's home. He had an extensive criminal record. His DNA was found on a soft-drink bottle at the si ... nk of the burglarized home. Most of the stolen property was found at the Defendant's home, much of it in his bedroom. We had a compelling "frame-up" argument, and despite his bad record, the Defendant took the stand to defend himself.
