Biography
Cary Garcia is a family law attorney who handles all aspects of the family law field, including divorce, paternity, child support, modification, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-judgment matters, among others. She also acts as a Guardian ad Litem for children, where she investigates the issues in family law cases and makes recommendations to the court regarding the best interest of the children.
Cary graduated from the Florida International University College of Law in December 2012, where she was a member of the trial team and the Student Bar Association, and volunteered as a mock-trial team coach for local high school students. Her family law essay from the February 2013 statewide bar exam was chosen and published by the Florida Bar in its “Study Guide and Selected Answers” for future bar-exam takers.
Before becoming a licensed lawyer, Cary acquired 10 years of prior experience in the legal field as a legal assistant/law clerk, primarily in the field of family law. It was in these 10 years of work that she developed a love for research and writing, for assisting clients who are dealing with life-changing family issues, and for being an advocate for children. Today, her passion lies in putting her experience into practice by providing knowledgeable services with an understanding of the family’s emotional needs during the litigation process.
