We're So Grateful
We couldn't be grateful enough to the Seward law office. They were able to help us in our time of great need and frustration.Alicia helped us to procure information in a timely manner from difficult tenants and has been very knowledgeable in her field. And has been working our case against a predatory PM office we hired. Thank you Seward Law Group.

Extremely Impressed!!!
I contacted Alicia to help with an issue we had with a property we owned. I provided her with the info and she jumped right in. She reviewed all the paperwork, contacted the other attorney and had them back down with their illegal threats. We were very pleased with her response and her reasonable rates. I also recommended Alicia to a close friend who was having issues with her HOA. I was informed that she did an amazing job for her as well.

Very Helpful
I consulted with this attorney online. She gave a quick helpful response. She was educated on the Florida law. The response was clear and direct. She also suggested some options to resolve the situation.

DO NOT HIRE!!!!
This attorney fully supported to pursue my claim against my HOA’s property manager in February 2023. After the initial consultation and write up with this attorney I had gotten very sporadic emails from her assistant for months. In September 2023 I was sent an email to set up a $300.00 15 minute call with the attorney. I expected the call to reveal the outcome of the months of sporadic emails over the months. Instead the attorney asked what was going on with my claim. I told her I would be expecting her to have her tell me what was going on. She did not remember the expected outcome of my claim. Many things said during the conversation did not make sense. The attorney 13 minutes into the conversation told me to call back(for another $300.00) when I was not aggravated, snarky, rude, and argumentative, and then hung up the phone. She followed up with an email saying because if the snarky, rude, argumentative, and disruptive that they are terminating services and closing my file. This was a large waste of my time and my money.

Do Not Recommend
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this attorney. I engaged their services with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned into a complete nightmare. First and foremost, there were significant issues with transparency regarding fees. I was advised to settle my case, which ultimately left me with a settlement that didn't even cover half of the attorney fees. To make matters worse, I was billed for the attorney fees after the settlement, which I wasn't informed of in advance. If I had known, I would have pursued a different course of action, potentially going in front of a judge to ensure my legal expenses were covered. It was also shocking to discover that the company we were suing had a clause limiting their contribution to just $500 in attorney fees. If the attorney's staff had done their due diligence and informed me of this before taking my case, I would have never proceeded with the lawsuit. Another major issue was the disorganization within the office. They consistently failed to keep me updated on the progress of my case, and I had to initiate follow-ups repeatedly. At one point, I didn't hear anything from them for an astounding three months, which is completely unacceptable when dealing with legal matters of any kind. In conclusion, I strongly advise against hiring this attorney and their office. They lack competence, organization, and, most importantly, the dedication to look out for their clients' best interests. If you are in need of legal representation, there are undoubtedly more capable and client-focused options available. Save yourself the trouble and frustration, and look elsewhere for legal assistance.

Uninformed/Confrontational
After sending specific, chronologically organized notes and transcripts of emails, with detailed remarks Ms. Seward’s first words in the first minute of the conversation were: what is the problem you have? I was definitely not expecting that. I thought we were going to exchange ideas in regards to my organized, carefully drafted notes for her to understand my issue at hand. It took me by surprise her question right after our greeting. I couldn’t help to immediately recall one of the reviews where a previous frustrated client expressed similar frustrating situation. I replied, it’s all in the notes I sent you. Did you read them? After she wanted to argue with her answer back, I said, it’s ok, let me refer to the Email. I went over key points, to summarize my email, her answer still was, so what would you like for me to do? I could not believe how off base her question was!! I have just answered her what I needed advice on and for which she charged me $300.00 phone consultation fee. To Everyone reading this: please, believe the 2 stars review. Plus, she has been reprimanded. She does not qualify, believe reviewers that take the time to share the experience. (I cannot help but wonder, how many people had similar or worded experiences and did not take the time to write a review…)

Horrible waste of 175 consult fee
I sent her advance docs.. she didnt read them. I waited until she did read them and still she appeared clueless. She had her phone on mute and after i got done speaking i called her name… said HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO she finally came back to the phone and asked me why i think i need a lawyer when i just explained myself ! It was apparent to me she hadnt been listening to me. I finally just hung up on her. What a waste.

Retainer lost/no action
I would not recommend this attorney for any reason. We met and she informed me of the of my rights and laid out a plan of action. I really thought she was trust worthy and would help me so I paid her $2,100.00. I waited for her follow-up on plan of action and to contact me with update. I did not hear from her. I called and was told that she sent out a email. I never got an email. No communication over 3-4 months. I left messages no return calls .5 months I called again because the people that she was to notify stated they did not receive any notification from her. I continued to call finally she return call. She had not done any work on my case. Could not answer any questions I ask as to where she was in handling my case. She was asking me questions she initially asked on our first meeting also asking for information already provided. The conversation ended when she states I needed to pay another $500.00 after having already paid $2100.00 that I got nothing for. I decided it was best to cut my losses and end this relationship. She did nothing, but according to contract I cannot get any portion of my money back. I signed the contract thinking some action would be taken. I got 2 very expensive conversations and this did include the $75.00 I paid for initial consultation. This was a very costly learning experience for me.

Lack of communication and no action in 6 months
We were impress during the initial consultation therefore we hired Ms Seward to deal with a non disclosure issue. We paid the retainer, April 30, provided her with all our documentation, and she was going to do some discovery work (request board meeting minutes). Despite two emails from us, 3 months went by with not one communication. She actually was snippy with us when we finally spoke to her. At which time we asked her to send a demand letter as she assured us we were in the right on the disclosure. She promised the letter would go out in a week. That was Mid July. No letter, early September we began sending emails demanding a status, the assistant replied "its on her to do list". Again mid September we then demanded the letter be send by month end. The last week in September we called daily, left message and wrote emails, no one reached out. I called from blocked number and the assistant promised someone would call me by Wednesday SEPTEMBER 25. We finally send an email firing her on that Thursday September 26. Funny thing she actually replied in two hrs and the next day tried to say we had agreed on month end. We got nothing from her, she blamed her staff and us, the client, for her lack of communication and professionalism. DO NOT HIRE MS SEWARD FOR ANYTHING. She should be reprimanded by her peers for her lack of professionalism.

Consult Client
I wish I could give ZERO stars. I paid for a consultation fee and was told by Ms. Seward to call back in 45 days to go forward with collecting my judgment, which I did. I called AND emailed for two weeks with NO RESPONSE then finally received an email where she told me because this is her firm, she can do what she sees fit, and would not refund me my consultation fee. Horrible customer service, and absolutely no professionalism.

Unprofessional conduct from an Attorney
I hired Alicia Seward on October 16 to represent my HOA in a pending lawsuit. She complained about phone calls and emails to her office asking her for case status updates, although I was not getting any information or updates from her. I gave her instruction and she ignores it, then she quit giving me no notice after I had a question on her Invoice. She lacks experience and professionalism and I would most definitely not recommend her to anyone.

Very unprofessional
We hired Alicia for our case, and Alicia showed up to our mediation completely unprepared. She never filed an amendment like she said she was going to and never communicated with us on the status of our court date causing us to miss it. Then instead of fixing it, she withdrew from the case. We lost a lot of time and money hiring Alicia. I do not recommend her.

Do not hire
Attorney Alicia Regina Seward is one of the worst. I hired her on 5/31/17 for an eviction case, a tentant who was beyond on rent payments. That same day she got the full payment her attorney fee of $750.00 plus the filing fee which was around $300.00. I called her office back several times, three hour later to notify her the tenant called me and we resolved the issue, but no respond. When she finally got back to me after via email and alot of calls. She refunded me the filing fee then told me in 15 to 30 days, she has to review what her assistance work on, before she can refund me the attorney fee. She also mentioned to me in her hiring docket there's a no refund stated in the docket, which was not in bold letters and before her assistance sent the docket. I Regina Seward was there any thing in the docket I should be aware of, she said no. On 7/7/17 she mailed me statement, breaking down the cost. Which add up for attorney fees $375.00 for thrée hours, mind you! On the day I hired her, she got the full payments attorney fee and filing fee, three hour later I called to tell her everything was resolved and her service wasn't required anymore. Now two months have pass and I still haven't received half of the attorney fee, which was stated due to me on the statement she mail to me.

Her delay in Our Eviction case cost us lots of money
Alicia was quick to meet me for 30 minutes free consultation and gave me several good pointers so I decided to hire her. She appeared to the court hearing and won the case for us ( it was an no-brainer win anyway). When Judge asked her whether he should write the final judgment or she will. She eagerly answered she will. But she didn't submit it until 2 weeks later. All my calls to her assistant went to deaf ear. Never received any answer. We had to take the case in our own hands. So we went to the sheriff's office requesting eviction enforcement. They asked for writ of possession, which we didn't have. We started calling around the court clerk. Nobody can give a straight answer where it is. One clerk says it's in Plant City court where we had the hearing, another said it was in Brandon court where we initially filed. The lawyer finally called ( because sheriff office called her asking why it was us, not her calling sheriff's office). She claimed that she had the originally stamped writ of possession and just mailed out to our home that morning (we still haven't received it after 3 weeks. Obviously she was lying. She never mailed anything to our home). After numerous calls and extreme frustration, sheriff's office finally told us that they got it and will proceed. From the hearing on May 3 until now, we only received one call from her which was a lie and couple of emails with electronic version of writ of possession which was useless. We still haven't received the monetary judgment against our deadbeat tenants. We will have to search in the dark to find that out. Hope it's there somewhere. If it doesn't exist, what should we do. I feel this is an extremely negligent, dishonest and irresponsible attorney. We plan to file complaint in Florida Bar Association. and put her attorney fee in our credit card dispute because not only we didn't receive the service, we were damaged by her terrible service.
