Better than the rest...

As a juvenile I was one of many clients misrepresented by a lawyer named Roach; I learned to be cautious of the power and trust I gave to so called professionals. So I obviously had my reservations and questions for the next one. I'm glad that I found Michael Haber by researching peer reviews, becaus...e he did not let me down. I spoke to two other lawyer and got a cheaper price, but Michael stood apart from the others in three ways. 1. Positive - Michael's work ethic is clear by the depth of consideration for me and my case, often drawing from his master level experience to demonstrate good faith in the course of action recommended. 2. Time - He's extremely prompt responding to email or phone calls during the day when I reached out and spent numerous hours answering my questions. He won't leave you with any question unanswered or try to sidestep your concerns because he already knows the answer. Instead he takes a teachers approach and makes sure you comprehend the situation and his actions as a partner. 3. Results - He maintained a no hassle and lively attitude that was a big help in overcoming the fear of what if. I always felt he was giving me 100% effort and kept it real. I feel Michael Haber is an excellent defense attorney and you can call him directly at no charge to find out yourself. Although I was arrested and bailed out, the prosecutors failed to bring proper evidence and witnesses to pursue the charges; disposition "nol pros". Michael Haber, treated me like an honest human being and represented me how I wanted to be; I now consider him my law bodyguard.

Mike Haber is a exceptional attorney

Mike represented me on a DUI arrest; I was pulled over and did not blow into the breathalyzer but may have been over the limit. I spoke with 3 attorneys. Mike was the only straight-shooter. I plead out and entered the Advocate Program (which was a great option for me). Mike is all the things you need... in a competent attorney; professional, hardworking, fair. But he's more. He listens. He cares. He does the right thing for people. My case turned out great and I can't thank him enough.

Ty for your review Andrew. My personal goals in representing folks are A) to be honest and realistic about litigation objectives; B) to be fair in regard to fees; C) to be consistently available and responsive to the client (in person, by phone call, text, email, Facebook. Twitter and otherwise); D) to keep the client informed; and E) to secure your positive feedback / client review at the conclusion of your case. I am very proud to have done so in your case. And I am especially proud in your case as 1) you were an AVVO-client (i.e. you came to my office vis-a-vis perusing AVVO) and 2) after consulting with other local lawyers you put your faith and confidence in me. Again, thank you very much! As an aisde, and just to be slightly more accurate (for the folks who may read this) you did not "plea out" your case. You maintained a "not guilty" plea while you entered the BOT ("Back on Track") DUI Diversion program which was offered to you by the State Attorney's Office and which was managed, in your case, through Advocate (Court Options also provides BOT supervision in Miami-Dade County). Upon successfully completing the program your DUI case was dismissed. BOT is an excellent option for folks like you who are not willing to risk a permanent criminal conviction, and jail time, for a 1st and "uncomplicated" DUI charge.

Satisfied

I have the opportunity to hire Michael for a DV/Resistant w/Violence . He was a great attorney from the beginning always available and very prompt in answering emails and returning phone calls. He had a great knowledge of how things worked and what to do. He is brilliant when advising his clients on... what may or may not work and is only concerned about their best interest. He does his due diligence on research needed, promptly returns phone calls and emails and keeps clients advised on status of their case. He is one amazing Lawyer and I will recommend him

Tyvm Nestor. I am glad that you had a positive experience, and I am elated to know that I met the highest standards of ensuring that a) my client was (is) fully informed along the way and b) the the many avenues of communication were (are) always open and available to my clientele. I refer to my law practice as being "boutique" - adapting to meet the specific needs of the unique client - and your review is "Exhibit A" that there is truth in advertising. Ty again for your kid words.

Commanding Understanding of the Law

Mike Haber is a Miami native, and I f you've ever hired him for representation, then you know that he is not only we'll know in that courthouse, but that he's also liked, and even more, well respected. He has an uncompromising attention to detail, and hes always on top of his game. Funny thing is, i...f you've ever had a chance to spend time with Mr. Haber outside of an office or a courthouse, you don't get a much different version. Invariably, and usually not by Haber, conversations turn to legal ramifications and Haber is just as passionate about the law in social conversation, as he is when he is on the clock. I recommend to anyone that takes their legal dealings seriously to consult Mike Haber. He's a guy you want on your side.

Tyvm JC! I truly appreciate both the kind words and kudos. Talking the talk is important but walking the walk is more critical. I hope that you were equally happy with the end result as you were with how we got there.

#1 Attorney

I searched the net for the best lawyer in Miami after i was charged with a felony, I found Michael Haber he had a five star rating and also had the most reviews on Avvo. This was my first time being in trouble with the law and wanted to make sure it was handled by the best in order to have the least ...negative impact in my future life. He was not like other lawyers i called before that wanted me to come in to their office before they could talk to me about my case, he never had any pressure what so ever to hire him to represent me. From the first phone call he went over my case and told me all the different outcomes that might happen. He then told me that his plan would be to get me into a pre trial diversion program that would ultimately result in my case being dismissed. He did exactly what he told me and was successful even after the state wanted to put me in a DUI class, he told me he would deal with them in the court and was aggressive with his plan which resulted me in only having to do community service hours and paying back restitution to have my case dismissed. Thank you for everything.

Thank you very much for your kind review. I am always grateful for feedback and I am always happy to know that my client was / is completely satisfied. As a point of clarification (other potential client's should know that) you were both kind and responsible enough to scan and email me your arrest report (A-Form) so that I was able to review the sworn statement of PC from the cop's perspective at my leisure. This provided me with a base of knowledge sufficient to discuss the matter with you more casually (without the need for a formal appointment) and to lay out the various options. You were quick to decide that diversion (PTI / PTD) was in your best interests (and I wholeheartedly agreed given the facts and the circumstances surrounding your arrest). That said, once we decided on diversion it was a matter of negotiation (in your case this was both challenging and successful) and your fee was tailored to be consistent with the litigation objective. Again, thank you for making my job easier and for your kind words. Please remember that I am here for you and yours should the need arise, and that I will be happy to assist you with expunging your case upon your successful completion of diversion.
