Helpful (and relieving) advice!
Mr Haber answered some questions I had about civil citations and cleared things up for me. Very helpful as I am not familiar with legal proceedings like this. Thank you again!
Dear Anonymous, Thank you very kindly for your surprising review. I have no idea who you are but I am elated that A) I was able to clear things up for you and B) that I was helpful enough for you to have taken the time and spent the effort to tell others about your experience with and impression of #HaberPA. I answer a lot of questions on AVVO (16,691 to date) and unsolicited reviews (yours being a perfect example) are the highest form of flattery. AVVO also generates plenty of phone calls and emails, both of which I strive to respond to just as I would were questions posed in the form of an on-line question. Whether you are in SoFlo or not, if you have a Criminal Defense, DUI, BUI, Domestic Violence, Crime Victim's Rights or a Seal & Expunge question, then I always want to be helpful and I will take the time to at least try. That is one of the main reasons why #HaberPA is a "boutique" (i.e. "a small company that offers highly specialized services") law firm. As an aside, #HaberPA's VideoFAQ (https://www.youtube.com/c/michaelhaberlaw) presently has 222 short, creative, educational and interesting Criminal Defense, DUI, BUI, Domestic Violence, Victim's Rights Advocacy and Seal & Expunge YouTube "Webisodes" which I hope that that you will one day watch and then consider further honoring me with your subscription. Thanking you again and wishing you and yours the best of luck and success. Fondly, MAH/Esq”

Great advice!
Great advice! Very smart and professional. Thank you!
Thank you very kindly for you strong and concise review Alexandra. I hate to admit that I have no idea who you are, what we discussed or what advise I may have offered to you, but I am absolutely thrilled that you were impressed enough by me to have taken the time and the initiative to share your positive experience with the folks! Even when it comes to random phone calls, emails and (my personal favorite...) comments on any of my 222 short, creative, educational and interesting Criminal Defense, DUI, BUI, Domestic Violence, Victim's Rights Advocacy and Seal & Expunge VideoFAQs on my YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/c/michaelhaberlaw ) I always effort at being helpful, and I strive to take the time to do so. That is one of the main reasons why #HaberPA is a "boutique" (i.e. "a small company that offers highly specialized services") law firm. Thanking you again and wishing you and yours the best of luck and success. Fondly, MAH/Esq

Successful Outcome -- Criminal Case
From the moment I called Michael Haber, I knew he was an attorney who would help me successfully navigate this incredibly difficult time. My first call to him was very late at night on a weekday. He not only answered the call, he provided me with information and helped ease my worry. The second phone...
Dear Anonymous, Thank you very much for your kind words. Please know that I very much appreciate your telling the folks who may read this (my 137th AVVO client review) about your positive experience with #HaberPA. Acknowledging that I cannot always be "Johnny-on-the-spot", I consistently do my best to field calls and offer sage advise and counsel in moments of crisis. Whether it's at the time or shortly thereafter (i.e. in response to a voicemail, text message or even a missed call), when you contact #HaberPA you will speak to me directly. I will then do my very best to educate myself about your situation so as to be able to engage in a meaningful discussion with you and then, hopefully, be able to ease your mind (although I will always tell it like it is and will not "blow sunshine up your pant leg"). Wishing you and yours the best of health, luck and success, and thanking you again for your +++ feedback! Fondly, MAH/Esq

Reckless Sriving
Mike was all over it from the start. He developed a strategy and followed that strategy to the end. A winning strategy and a winning result.
Dear Daniel, Thank you for the props. Since no one knows who you are I'm going to shed some light on the circumstances and strategy that led to the winning result in your case. You were charged with Reckless Driving (please see #HaberPA's VideoFAQ on Reckless Driving at the following link: https://youtu.be/y-0wrIv6ZJE), which is a criminal offense punishable by jail time, but, luckily for you, your arresting officer was lazy. He did not take the time to author a proper Arrest Affidavit, opting instead to simply write you a ticket, and then completely screwing up the citation by failing to provide you with constitutionally acceptable notice of the charge on the document (he had chicken-scratch, scribbled some undecipherable, unintelligible cryptic language on the ticket that was only clear on one front - it was clearly legally defective). We monitored the case and waited until the last possible moment to file a not guilty plea and to demand discovery (eating up more than 1/3 of your speedy trial time) and then when it was predictably set in branch court for trial we filed a jury trial demand (which removed the case to the main courthouse, effectively killing another 1/3 of your speedy trial time). By the time that we got a jury trial date speedies had run and the State had failed to provide discovery. By the time that the government complied with a Motion to Compel Discovery time had ticked, and so we filed our Motion to Dismiss for a Failure of Due Process as well as a Notice of Expiration of Speedy Trial time. Then, at our very 1st Court appearance (which you did not even have to attend) your citation was dismissed. To use your words this was "[a] winning strategy and a winning result", but this was so because A) your cop completed FUBAR'd the State's case and as B) I knew precisely how to take advantage of the situation. That said, I am pleased that you were pleased, I am grateful for your kind client review and I am proud for you to be # 135. Fondly, MAH/Esq.

Very knowledge in his field of law and a straight shooter
I can't say enough about Attorney Michael Haber. My significant other got in trouble with the law on a weekend and attorney Michael Haber answered my call late at night no less. He got my significant others case dismissed. I could not be more thankful or grateful for everything he has done.
Dear Maura, Thank you for your kind words and for authoring #HaberPA's AVVO client review # 136. As a 305 criminal defense and DUI lawyer (** noting that my partner and I also routinely and proudly serve the 954 and 561) I try to make myself available as close to 24/7 as is possible, and, regardless of when we speak, I do my best to listen, diagnose, provide advise and, if I can responsibly do so, then to propose both a course of action and a reasonable fee for the same. In your S/O's case he was stopped by rookie cops who completely FUBAR'd what could have been - what should have been - a slam dunk felony case. The cops who arrested your S/O were so inexperienced that they couldn't even figure out how to effectively lie on their police report so as to cover up their incompetence. Further, and fortunately for your S/O, they also failed to call in narcotics officers who actually know what they are doing and how to do it. As a private citizen, frankly, I expect much more from the police and I consider this to be a sad (if not pathetic) state of affairs; but as your S/O's lawyer I absolutely and unequivocally crammed these officer's ineptness down their throats, taking the matter to the pre-filing State Attorney and securing a "No Action" ( a dismissal) at Arraignment (which also worked to the benefit of your S/O's co-Defendant, who's case was also dismissed and who, equitably, should probably kick in some dough to help cover your S/O's legal fees). The take away here (for the folks who are reading his) is that sometimes - as in this case - when a skilled and experienced criminal defense lawyer gets involved right after an arrest the filing decision can be effected before Arraignment. This is not limited to poor police work (as in this case) and it holds true in many circumstances (for instance where there is an affirmative defense to the charge or where the credibility of the alleged victim is at issue and the State would never know it unless a defense lawyer walked in with concrete proof). Anyhow, thanking you again Marua and wishing you and your S/O nothing but the best. Fondly, MAH/Esq.
