Biography
Vanessa Vasquez de Lara, Esq. is the founder and owner of Vasquez de Lara Law Group, a law firm dedicated to assisting families with the legal issues affecting them, and their loved ones in family and probate court. Ms. Vasquez de Lara graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002. She has been named to the 2015 Super Lawyers Rising Stars and 2016-2022 Super Lawyers lists. She is an experienced family law litigator. Cases handled in family court include divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, modification, and relocation matters.
Mrs. Vasquez de Lara has been featured multiple times on Univision’s Despierta America, a national television show, for her family law knowledge. She has been extensively involved in her community including as an elected member of the board of the Young Lawyers Section of the Dade County Bar Association. She is also active in the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the Miami Dade Bar, as well as the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is also an active board member of the Dominican American Bar Association and the Coral Gables Bar Association. She is also the Founder of the Supreme Scholars Foundation, an organization created to honor the memory of Ricardo de Lara by providing scholarships to deserving high school graduates.
Mrs. Vasquez de Lara is involved with all cases handled by the firm. She manages all matters and clients with a fantastic staff of associate attorneys and administrative staff. All of the clients’ needs are considered and discussed prior to the acceptance of any and every case to ensure that all matters are adequately handled to the best of the firm’s abilities.
