I interviewed several firms prior to meeting with Daniel and the team at Gautier and Hasty. I was not interested in working with any of them. However, once I met with Daniel, my decision was made instantly--I knew I was in the right place. After reading the previews reviews posted for Daniel Silver, the first thing that I want to say is that I agree wholeheartedly with each one of them, therefore I will try not to be repetitive. I met Daniel Silver a few months ago when I had to go back to my Divorce attorney, Bill Gautier, because ...my ex-husband initiated a Modification of Child Support and Timesharing. He knew that my finances were tight and he worked diligently and efficiently always keeping in mind that I needed to keep my costs as low as possible. His ability to empathize and make me feel at peace every step of the way was what kept me sane these past few months. He kept me informed at all times and knew instinctively exactly what my priorities were throughout (ultimately the well-being of my children). Daniel Silver assisted me with downward modification of child support. I highly recommend him. He is a very skilled lawyer with a solid understanding of present technology. He uses the internet, modern devices, and software to accelerate court filings, research cases, confirm findings, and communic...ate with others in a much faster way than most. This allows him to keep cost lower while being very effective and accurate. Any lawyer can present your case to court, but the process is a lot smoother when you and your lawyer are on the same page and agree with each other. I didn’t have to point this out to Mr. Silver. He told me within 5 minutes of my initial consultation. As soon as I agreed to have him represent me, he didn’t waste time and started filing papers electronically with the courts. I was surprised and very pleased to see him move my case forward as quickly as possible. At times the opposing council seemed to be delaying the case. My case could have taken much longer if Mr. Silver didn’t aggressively represent me from start to finish. Mr. Silver contacted opposing council several times during my case. He always kept me informed of all communications. I received email copies, scanned attachments, and prompt phone calls of every conversation he had with opposing council. He quickly returned all my calls and replied to any emails. Communication with Mr. Silver was superb and very transparent. No hidden talks or private chats with opposing council. They talked and I was informed. Throughout my case, Mr. Silver presented me with counter offers from opposing council. He made sure I had time to review the offers and always honored my final decision. He went back and forth as many times needed until we reached an agreement. He always made sure I was pleased with the outcome and also with his hard work and efforts. While he negotiated frequently and aggressively he was very cautious of the legal expenses. He did everything he could to keep my cost low. He advised me when my legal choices could exceed reasonable legal fees and offered cheaper alternatives such as in-house mediation instead of private mediation. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case. Equally so, I’m impressed with Mr. Silver’s legal representation and very surprised how he used technology to lower my legal expenses.
