Family law is stressful for everyone involved. We found Nydia here on Avvo.com when we needed to change lawyers mid-case and we can't express enough how grateful we are that we did.
From the initial consultation, to constant, clear, and prompt communication, to our days in court, Nydia is an amazing and complete lawyer. She understands the customer service interface with her clients so incredibly well - we always knew what was happening with our case, what the recommended paths were, what contingencies we should plan for - all with excellent communication and a personal warmth we really appreciated. She is an excellent writer - in the past we had several motions filled with errors and typos. Nydia's work has always been impeccable, and we know that a motion filed by her would be complete and well researched. Her court presence really impressed us, too. She knows the inner workings of the system extremely well, from the particulars of the judges involved, to dealing with opposition attorneys, and many other nuances that we probably didn't even pick up on. Finally, Nydia's personality is just a pleasure to work with - we felt like our case was in the hands of someone that really cared about our concerns, listened to what we had to say, provided quick answers, and clearly detailed our possible courses of action.
We have already recommended her to one family member who took our recommendation and was able to get their legal issue solved quickly. We have no reservations at all about recommending Nydia to anyone needing legal representation.

While looking for a lawyer for a stepchild adoption, my husband and I did a lot of research to find the perfect lawyer. We knew we wanted to find someone who was professional and caring being that it was such a sensitive matter.
We found Ms. Streets and we are so glad we did. From the initial consultation, to the final hearing, Ms. Streets was incredibly helpful. She always kept us updated and informed of what was going on with our case. She was quick, professional, and efficient with every step of the process. She truly is passionate and wonderful at what she does. Additionally, her assistant Helen was just as amazing and was always willing to answer any questions we had along the way.
Lastly, she stayed within the budget of the original retainer deposit and never asked for any additional funds. If you are looking for an excellent lawyer whom is honest and compassionate than look no further, Ms. Streets is who you need to contact!!!
Thank you, Ms. Streets for all of your hard work and dedication to our case! Thanks to you our family is complete!
