II had spent some time browsing Google trying to find an attorney that could help my company with an uncommon problem related to foreign registration in Florida. I found EPGD Business Law and thought I would try them. What good fortune I had! I rarely write reviews, but this is beyond deserving. Eric was not completely familiar with our problem. I honestly did not expect ANYONE would be. Foreign registration is one thing, but our problem dated back over 30+ years. Rather than pretend like he knew, he took the time to examine our case. Some of it he did not charge for because it was for his own learning to understand how to clear up our mess. Who does that?!?! His honesty is something that is rare in this world, and in this day and age. Someone who really cares about their clients. Well... How about earning a lifelong client? I'll never use any other attorney in Florida. That's for sure. And it wasn't just Eric. Kathrine helped me enormously; Super nice, attentive to the issues, followed up and kept me informed along the way. I'm not speechless. I had to write this review because this group is extraordinary! It's hard to put a dollar figure on the comfort of knowing that you've got an attorney who has your back. This and all at a reasonable rate. I'm 100% satisfied.

Eric Gros-Dubois is the founder of EPGD Business Law, head of the firm’s corporate, estate planning, and tax practice, and manages the firm’s Washington D.C. office. With a JD and MBA, and a specialization in finance, Eric is able to step back and view the legal world through a commercial lens while also acting as a trusted business advisor for his clients.

Before founding EPGD, Mr. Gros-Dubois’s areas of concentration included business transactions, tax controversies, and estate & trust planning. While at a prominent firm located in Washington, DC, his path led him to Miami, FL where he handled commercial transactions and business litigation. While attending law school, he spent a summer with a non-profit organization, interned with a private equity group, and devoted a semester to the Federal Tax clinic representing taxpayers before the U.S. Tax Courts, laying the foundation for the future of EPGD Business Law.

When asked to identify his thoughts on practicing law, Eric answers without hesitation: “People aren’t hiring us to solve legal problems, they’re hiring us to solve personal problems.” With his hands-on approach, Eric builds strong client-attorney relationships and finds himself intimately involved in each of his cases even after they’ve been resolved. Despite his heavy work schedule, Eric still finds the time to be an outstanding member of the community, including the following current and past positions;

The Attorney everyone needs...

EPGD Law firm is Great! Eric and his team have helped my clients in so many different ways. Any type of business contract or agreement should always be reviewed by someone or even better created by someone who knows the law. Eric Gros-Dubois does. Trademark issues, patent issues, and even stuff like online defamatory issues. Hand shakes just don't cut it anymore. Contracts especially between business partners need to be legalized and reviewed by a professional so they will hold up in court just in case something goes sour between partners down the road. Does a client owe you money for quite some time now? Eric can help you there too. I highly recommend Eric and his firm to all of my clients and my company uses him quite often as well. VERY HAPPY!

I've known Eric for a few years and had the opportunity to recommended a valued client of mine for Eric to draft up corporate docs and purchase a business. The deal got complicated, but Eric knew exactly how to handle it. Once it was done the client called back singing Eric's praises. Eric was a great choice!

Excellent concise contract for my business.

Eric Gros-Dubois and his team drafted a very clean, concise and elegant agreement and statement of work for my interior design firm. He and his team addressed all my concerns and the concerns of my clients in a timely manor. They did a great job of keeping me informed and educated about all the contents of the documents. Great and personable Attorney

I would recommend Eric to anyone who asks me. At the time I contacted him I had been given the runaround for months by my building's condo association. No one would contact me back nor would address my problem. As soon as he became involved he sent them a letter and contacted their attorney. Immediately the association became cooperative and within weeks the problem was solved and the result was positive. I don't believe I would have had a positive result without Eric. He has also helped me with other issues that referred to diverse areas of the law and all have come to a positive conclusion. From that time forward if any other issues occur or I have any questions I will, without a doubt, have him involved.

True to His Word

I strongly endorse this lawyer. I came to him when four frivolous lawsuits had been filed against me. He quoted me a fair price, and promised me that he would get the cases consolidated and dismissed. He was true to his word, and I was so relieved when I saw that the four cases were dismissed with prejudice. Now I have Mr. Gros-Dubois working on a few other matters, and I am confident he will get good results again.

Excellent Tax Attorney

Eric helped me resolve a IRS Tax issue in tax court that was critical and would have affected 4 years of returns had we lost this. He developed a position and keeped pushing the IRS for resolution. He did not give up when it would have been easy to ask to resolve. You want this guy fighting for you too!

INEPT COMPANY

This lawyer and his company persuaded me for 6 months promising a better service, to substitute my counsel. I finally accepted paid the retainer's. They were charging me $1250 per phone call. They claimed there were two lawyers listening so both had to be paid. Asking me if they should use my precedent counsel's counter claim/ they all ready knew the answer which was Yes . After Charging me $5500 for ludicrous phone calls and to go over my file as I complained they were slow and that they were over charging me they filed a motion to withdraw
