We used Jodi for a real estate purchase in the Miami area in 2023. On the pro side, she seemed nice, experienced, and competent, and ultimately got our deal over the finish line. On the other hand, there were several things we did not like about working with her: * We did not sign an engageme...nt letter... * So it wasn't clear if she was representing us or herself or the State of Florida * Though her fees ultimately were reasonable, they were not clear. * Jodi was often hard to reach and I was left frustrated by her lack of responsiveness. * We felt unprepared at the closing table and was presented with documents to sign and settlement numbers to approve that I hadn't seen previously and didn't have time to check. * We tried reaching with a few post-closing questions, but she was unresponsive. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it wasn't a great one either.

I would like to thank Jodi and her staff for assisting us with our first-time home buying experience. They were so quick, efficient, and responsive that we were even able to move up our closing date. The closing went extremely smoothly and Jodi took the time to explain each page of the closing docume...nts during the signing process. We are very grateful for the excellent job they did and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Jodi Adams was, by far, the most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever encountered in any transaction. She was beyond unpleasant, extremely abrasive, and in our opinion, downright incompetent. She managed to turn a simple real estate closing into a nightmare for all parties. The “highlight” was when she ...spoke negatively about us, her paying clients and while the representation was ongoing, in written correspondence to the other party’s counsel while putting us on CC on that email. No professional with self dignity, let alone a professional with a fiduciary duty, should act like that for any reason. To make things worse, she also tried to collect a higher fee than the range she quoted us in writing following our initial consultation. We filed a complaint against her with the Florida Bar and truly hope she gets disbarred. Until then, we highly recommend avoiding her. She might charge less than other attorneys, but there’s a good reason for it.

I am not a Realtor, but I have personally bought and sold 20+ properties in my lifetime, so its safe to say I have some experience with these transactions :-). I've done my last 6 closings with Strang Law. I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else other Jodi ever again. She has an incredible atte...ntion to detail and I can always rest easy knowing she has my best interest protected. She will always make an ethically-sound decision even its an unpopular one. Working with Jodi has been the epitome of professionalism. She even found and rectified a situation a previous closing agent left me exposed to! You can tell she loves what she does because she is the best at it. Not all Real Estate attorneys are created equal, I learned that through personal trial-and-error. I highly recommend this firm and Jodi, who happens to be an extremely kind and smart woman. You'll be in trusted hands with her!
