Jodi Adams was, by far, the most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever encountered in any transaction. She was beyond unpleasant, extremely abrasive, and in our opinion, downright incompetent. She managed to turn a simple real estate closing into a nightmare for all parties. The “highlight” was when she ...spoke negatively about us, her paying clients and while the representation was ongoing, in written correspondence to the other party’s counsel while putting us on CC on that email. No professional with self dignity, let alone a professional with a fiduciary duty, should act like that for any reason. To make things worse, she also tried to collect a higher fee than the range she quoted us in writing following our initial consultation. We filed a complaint against her with the Florida Bar and truly hope she gets disbarred. Until then, we highly recommend avoiding her. She might charge less than other attorneys, but there’s a good reason for it.

Jodi Strang assisted me during a very difficult and trying period in my life between 2008 and 2013. Subsequent to the crash of 2008 I found myself with three properties that had a combined loss in value of almost $3,000,000.00, putting me in a substantial negative equity position. Two of those proper...ties had 2nd lien positions of approximately the same amount as the first, making it very difficult to obtain deficiency judgment waivers from all the lenders, for which I was insistent on having at the time of the transfers of all the titles. We finally sold and closed on the last property in March of 2013, for which Jodi was instrumental in negotiating deficiency judgement waivers for me of almost $2,000;000.00. I had numerous experiences involving conference calls with realtors and buyers attorneys, wherein I was able to ascertain that Jody is very sharp and professional when engaging in these types of discussions. I am very thankful and appreciative that Jodi hung in with me until the end, when many times the task seemed almost insurmountable. My recognition and appreciation of Jody's accomplishments in these matters is not intended in any way to take away from the fact that my trust is in a higher power, but only that she was very instrumental in getting the job accomplished to my great satisfaction.
