Jeffrey Paul Battista

I hired Battista and he completely neglected my case. Wouldn't talk by phone always sent to his assistant, wouldn't meet for a face to face meeting, let my simple case drag on for months, promised alot at his pricey consultation and provided very little if anything. His assistant has a nasty attitude... and his associate in my opinion seems inexperienced and unknowledgable about family law. I ended up taking the case over myself so work could actually get done. These other comments look like they're from his peers, not actual clients. There's alot more I could say, but not interested in getting sued, just wanted to warn our small town. There are great attorneys, keep searching and DEFINITELY take your time before choosing an attorney!!!

Going through a child custody battle is nothing short of terrifying. For me the bad luck just seemed to keep pouring in strong. From my sons father refusing to pay child support to him disappearing for several years and popping back up demanding more time with our son. Jeff was behind me every ste...p of the way. He is a genuine and kind person and when it comes to fighting for the safety of your children that is exactly what you need, someone who really cares. Jeff's concern for my circumstance made this nightmare of a situation have light at the end of the tunnel. I could ALWAYS reach him and his office staff, he quickly returned every email and phone call no matter how little or big my question was. In the court room he represented me with so much professionalism and knowledge. He knew my case inside and out. I would also like to note that aside from taking on my case and helping me be awarded the courts approval he also had to clear up a multitude of errors made by the law firm I used prior.

I hired Jeff after my previous law firm Rossway-Swan pulled out on me literally one week before my divorce hearing. With next to no time to prepare, he pulled a miracle out of his hat. He was well spoken at trial. He and his paralegal, Korrie Matthews, knew more about my case in the one week they ...had it than my previous firm did in the entire year they had it, and they appeared to genuinely care more about the outcome. His communications are prompt and accurate, which was very refreshing to me after dealing with Rossway's paralegal. He's returned calls during his lunchbreaks, after hours, always promptly and as he promised. He's created legal documents for me in a timely fashion, even under pressure of other commitments. He's incredibly intelligent and diligent. He is also honorable and fair. I highly recommend Jeff Battista if you need to get the job done right the first time.

Divorcing one's spouse is one of the most personal and trying thing you may ever do. I could not have selected a more accomplished, compassionate attorney than Jeff Battista. From my first numb days of having no idea what I would do or where I would go, Jeff was there with an informed but sympathetic... guiding hand. He is beyond personable and even in the most difficult and emotional time, he can help you stay focused on the ultimate goal. For me, that was a divorce that provided a new, healthy, and safe environment for me and my two children. He surprised me in court on more than one occasion, always intercepting falsities and questioning everything. His knowledge of Florida divorce law is impeccable. Every time I walked out of the courtroom, I felt relief. It also must be said, that his staff and paralegal (Korie) are some of the most understanding and supportive professionals you may ever come across. Jeff and his staff have given me more than I can write in 4000 characters or less. Well, I suppose I can express to you one last thing; it sure felt good walking away a victor.

Although I was never expecting it would happen, I found myself in the middle of a divorce a few years ago. Divorce is tricky because there are times when its best to fight and there are times when its best to try and get along. Battista knew when it was best to do both. Alot of the mistakes I was making was due to the fact that I was emotional. Battista helped me see through all the emotional stuff, and really looked out for what was in my own best interest. I really owe him for that. Its a tough thing to go through, but Menz & Battista really made it so I could get back on my feet and put my life back together and I will always owe them for that.
