Rebecca F. Emmons, Esq. was born in State College, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Florida since 1999. She and her husband, Brad, first lived in Hollywood but moved to Vero Beach in 2003, where she became the first female partner of a boutique law firm since its inception in the mid-1970's. She is currently a partner at the lawfirm Rossway Swan Tierney Barry Lacey & Oliver, P.L. Her law practice focuses on real estate, estate planning and probate, corporate law and tax exempt law. Prior to moving to Vero Beach, she practiced in the tax department of the Miami offices of Holland & Knight, LLP. She obtained her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cleveland Marshall College of law and is licensed to practice in both Ohio (1999) and Florida (2000).
Rebecca presently serves on the Board of Directors of (i) Indian River Impact 100, where she is the current President; (ii) Indian River Community Foundation; and (iii) the Indian River County Real Property Council. She and her husband have two children, Morgan (13) and Jacob (10).
She has been a licensed title insurance agent with Attorney's Title Fund Services since 2008 and in 2015 served as a panel speaker at The Fund 51st Annual Fund Assembly on the topic of Residential Real Estate Closing Disputes.
