Jason L. In 2017 he was listed among Florida’s “Super Lawyers,” a service which identifies the top 5% of attorneys in the state, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Born and raised in Vero Beach, Mr. Odom received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 1997. Mr. Odom is a former member of our nation’s armed services, serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and achieving the rank of sergeant.
In 2000, Mr. Odom earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Mr. Odom was a member of the award-winning Moot Court Board. He started his legal career with the Tampa law firm of Thompson, Sizemore & Gonzalez, PA. While at TSG, Mr. Odom practiced Employment Law Litigation and represented large public and private sector employers. During that time, Mr. Odom also served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, where he participated in projects that benefited disadvantaged children.
Since returning to Vero Beach in 2006, Mr. Odom displays his commitment to supporting our community through his involvement with local charitable causes such as the Indian River Big Brothers Big Sisters, of which he sits on the Advisory Board.
