Jay Rooth grew up in St Petersburg, Florida and attended Tampa Jesuit High School. He then obtained his bachelors and Masters degree in Business from Stetson University and a JD from Barry University School of law.
Jay Rooth started his career in the legal profession as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. After his experience with the state attorneys office, he opened Moses and Rooth Attorneys at Law which focusses its practice in the area of criminal defense.

Top Notch Attorney
I cannot say enough about the law office of Moses and Rooth. They are excellent attorneys and wonderful people. I am a pharmacist that was charged with multiple counts of trafficking in Oxycodone which called for a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years per count which amounted to close to 100 years....
