Thank you Mr. Weart!

After rear-ending a vehicle on my way back to the condo at a resort I was staying at in Orlando, FL, I was subsequently charged erroneously with driving under the influence. Upon calling Mr. Weart, he immediately made me feel comforted and secure that I would be properly represented. He and his offic...e handled everything from that point forward. One a hearing was set, and it was decided by the state that they would not dismiss, we went to trial. Mr. Weart handled the trial with professionalism and dedication. I was found NOT GUILTY and the case was dismissed by the state. THANK YOU Mr. James C. Weart for coming through when I needed you most. I would recommend Mr. Weart to anyone that needed a lawyer in Orange County, Florida or the surrounding areas!

Highly recommend ! Defends but guides you as well.

I read the abrasive and puzzling review from the client who was dissatisfied with James Weart's handling of his case, 6to 12 months. Counselor Weart has been my attorney for the past 3 years, not because he works slowly but because I manage to keep myself in need of an attorney. James Weart has not o...nly guided me through the court/legal process he has pointed me in the right direction to receive guidance in straightening out myself and my life as well. I have always been able to get any question or concern I have answered in a timely manner. His staff is supportive a nd courteous. I am prepared when I appear in court thanks to their efforts. I am very appreciative of Couunselor Weart's efforts to help me turn my life around.

outstanding attorney

James Weart is an excellent attorney with the right attitude!!! I highly suggest hiring Mr. Weart for any problems! Mr. Weart has a highly trained staff that is friendly and informative, as well, 24/7 by your side. When they say "the attorney with attitude" I totally agree as he is well practiced and... smooth but does his very best for his clients. The staff is excellent and much appreciated by me. I appreciate James Weart as well will you if you need him!!

Made every possible effort and SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED ME... Amazing service and top performance.

Counselor Weart is the person to handle your criminal defense, in my opinion. In my case he was extremely thorough in reviewing the facts with me at lengthy interview. He then took the time to file every possible motion to exclude improper evidence, and he won at the hearing. The result was a mass...ive reduction in conviction from a possible DUI down to merely a reckless conviction, despite the fact that there had been an accident! And although I did not consent to the breathalyzer, Counselor Weart made multiple visits to the traffic services courts, and he WON, so that I had no loss of license, ever, not even for a single hour. I was amazed at the amount of time Counselor Weart put in, from gathering every single piece of the prosecution's evidence, picking through that evidence, and making the appropriate motions for exclusion and dismissal. Counselor Weart went so far as to request, receive, and present arguments at a hearing for exclusion of that evidence -- and he WON almost everything -- probably 90 percent of the evidence was excluded. After that, the prosecution was only too happy to reduce the type of conviction they wanted. In the end, even though I never blew the breathalyzer, and I had been involved in an accident where I was charged with being intoxicated, I ended up with a mere traffic offense, and NO points placed on my license, and never, for even 1 hour, having lost my driving privileges. Mine was not an easy case, and Counselor Weart did one heck of a job. I've had attorneys before for other things, but never one as dedicated, or successful, as Jim Weart. I hope he reads this and knows of my thanks!

James saved my butt!

I must say I disagree with the negative review by Criminal Defense client below. Lawyers are there to fight for you, not get you out of the charges. That is up to the prosecutor and only the prosecutor. James did exactly what he said he would do in the beginning; he said he would fight for me. 1.... All attys have you go through their assistant. If not, they will charge you for every single phone call, email and etc. You want to go through the assistant. 2. If he doesn't update you on a regular basis, it means there is nothing to update. My case lasted a year. Was he supposed to update me every week for a year? No. 3. With James, No news is good news! 4. "Does not work quickly." ?? Of course he does not work quickly. He is trying to drag out your case in case you are found guilty. Would you rather go to jail now or a year from now. 5. The fact that James took his time on my case worked to my benefit. At first, the prosecutor wanted to hang me out to dry. After several months, she finally found the truth and let me off easy. Last, attorneys are like girlfriends. If you do not like the one you got, find a new one. There is no guarantee that you will like your attorney. You have to find the right one for you. James might be rough around the edges, but when it comes to fighting for you, that is what you want. For me, James is the only attorney I will use (hopefully I will not need him again) but I do keep his card in my wallet at all times.
