Mr. Weart is an outstanding lawyer. So thankful, I was referred to Mr. Weart by my bail bondsman. From day one, he took on my DUI case. Explained the pros and cons of the situation and told me it was going to be hard, but I could do it. Even with the load of cases he had, I never once felt neglected.... I received a DUI in October of 2015, I fell through the cracks in the courts for 6+ months. When I was finally put on docket court gave me a week and a half before my first appearance. I went to James Weart for a DUI charge. He came highly recommended by people I know. James told me what I needed to hear about my case as opposed to what I wanted to hear. He is very honest. As a result, the DUI charge got thrown out due to James challenging the State Attorney on the charge with hi...s legal knowledge converting it to a powerful force in the courtroom. The State Attorney backed off because James is a bulldog in the courtroom. I seriously believe that if I had a lawyer with a weak reputation, the State would have taken it to trial to try and convict me. James kept that from happening because they knew therr was a good chance that they were going to lose if it went to trial with James as my lawyer. Was arrested for DUI (BAL above 2.0) involving minor fender bender. Was facing serious consequences (30 days jail, upward $4,000 fines, vehicle impoundment, ignition device and five years license suspension) due to having a DUI five years ago. Upon contact James Weart and his team, I received them as... very professional and courteous. I felt at ease and confident leaving my case in their hands. James worked diligently on my case and was able to get field sobriety, BAL and police report suppressed from court. James was able to have charges amended from DUI to one count of leave scene without giving info. End result of paying only a fraction of original fines and driver improvement classes.
