Mr. Weart is an outstanding lawyer. So thankful, I was referred to Mr. Weart by my bail bondsman. From day one, he took on my DUI case. Explained the pros and cons of the situation and told me it was going to be hard, but I could do it. Even with the load of cases he had, I never once felt neglected.... If I didn't receive a call from him, I'd received a call from his wonderful wife. Needless to say, you get what you pay for, my DUI was reduced to reckless driving without alcohol. I received a DUI in October of 2015, I fell through the cracks in the courts for 6+ months. When I was finally put on docket court gave me a week and a half before my first appearance. I called Mr. Weart told him and he got right to work! Not only did he show up to multiple court appearances with me,... but he also worked with me financially! He is a very friendly, professional lawyer know knows his stuff! He got my DUI down to a RECKLESS and I even messed up and violated my probation, and they wanted to give me jail time... Well not only did I stay out of jail but 2 months later (after completing what was court ordered) he got me completely off of probation!! So I highly recommend Mr. Weart, he did a great job and the way he worked with me financially made me able to obtain a lawyer, otherwise I would've went in with a Public Defender.. no good there. My son was facing life with out ever getting out. He had a public defender for 19 months and went and seen my son a total of 4 times during the 19 months. I went to James Weart for a DUI charge. He came highly recommended by people I know. James told me what I needed to hear about my case as opposed to what I wanted to hear. He is very honest. As a result, the DUI charge got thrown out due to James challenging the State Attorney on the charge with hi...s legal knowledge converting it to a powerful force in the courtroom. The State Attorney backed off because James is a bulldog in the courtroom. I seriously believe that if I had a lawyer with a weak reputation, the State would have taken it to trial to try and convict me. James kept that from happening because they knew therr was a good chance that they were going to lose if it went to trial with James as my lawyer. He cares about his clients and has that drive to win. He is not the typical attorney that tells you he will fight for you and takes your money and then lays down on you and rolls over. James Weart is a stand up man. He has honor, dignity and respect. He is a true Spartan Lawyer. He will fight for you to win. He likes to win. That is a beautiful thing for a criminal lawyer to have as a primary drive force. His fees were fair and reasonable as well . Also, his staff is very good.
