Excellent criminal lawyer

I went to James Weart for a DUI charge. He came highly recommended by people I know. James told me what I needed to hear about my case as opposed to what I wanted to hear. He is very honest. As a result, the DUI charge got thrown out due to James challenging the State Attorney on the charge with hi...s legal knowledge converting it to a powerful force in the courtroom. The State Attorney backed off because James is a bulldog in the courtroom. I seriously believe that if I had a lawyer with a weak reputation, the State would have taken it to trial to try and convict me. James kept that from happening because they knew therr was a good chance that they were going to lose if it went to trial with James as my lawyer. He cares about his clients and has that drive to win. He is not the typical attorney that tells you he will fight for you and takes your money and then lays down on you and rolls over. James Weart is a stand up man. He has honor, dignity and respect. He is a true Spartan Lawyer. He will fight for you to win. He likes to win. That is a beautiful thing for a criminal lawyer to have as a primary drive force. His fees were fair and reasonable as well . Also, his staff is very good. Everytime I called I was able to talk with his assistant, Carlos, who is a great guy and very personable. All in all, James Weart is the best.. He is also on my Facebook. That's how much I recommend him. Cord....

client

I have such deep appreciation for my experiences with Mr. Weart... I went to Mr. Weart for my grandson. It was a serious case but one that he could have been able to get resolved without too much problem but of course while he was presenting motions on my grandsons behalf I had to notify him that he... (grandson) had committed the same offense only worse in another county. This latest would have brought a 15 year sentence. Mr Weart through his hard work and persistence was able to get the cases combined and then get probation with license limitations for us. This should have been the end of his work for us but...After all his work was completed I contacted him again because the DMV would not honor the judges verdict for a BPO lic. He worked with the judge and prosecutor to assure that my grandson didn't lose his job for outdated verbiage and the DMV had to honor the decision. My grandson was able to comply and, importantly, to also keep his job. Mr Weart went above and beyond when someone else would have written my grandson off. He most certainly did more than he was paid for. He actually declined any payment for the extra work put on him and his office. I love this man and his assistants for making a devastating experience bearable and keeping it positive.

Real as they come, 100 !

Everyone was saying " man, you're thru ! " but not Mr Weart...from the start he made me feel as if he believed in my innocence and would do ALL he could to reveal my truth ! Once he heard my story he immediatly went to work and told me to just go and live my life and worry not...I've been to prison ...2 times and thought " well innocent or not , here I go again " I was facing at least 40 years if convicted at best and life at worst...either way it wasn't looking good ! Enter James Weart ! From jump he treated me as a man , not as a convicted felon and definitely not as a doomed individual. He is calm , cool and down to earth . James introduced me to the real world of criminal defense at it's best ! Defense lawyers are supposed to defend and thats exactly what he did ! My case never even made it to pretrial ! He attaccked the case from a expierienced 40 year aggresive standpoint that left no room for arguement...literally...We had 1 , (yes 1) hearing for a motion to dismiss information based on a statue of limitations rule. Mr Weart prepared and presented the motion in such a precise , detailed and impressive way that even the states attorney didn't have any objections to the motion and within 5 minutes a 11 year nightmare was finally over ! Motion granted and case nolle processed ! Finito. And for the 1st time in my life of crime i want nothing else to do with it, not because I won the case but because Mr Weart showed me that the legal world isn't full of people full of game, that there are people who are in this business to help people have 2nd and even 3rd chances to get it together ! James did his job and now it's my time to do mine...legally. Thank you James Weart for being a mans man and representing me with integrity and honor. My life is mine to make now and that's exactly what I plan to do ...Live and let live. God is great , beer is good and James Weart is , real as they come !

My case

Hello, I would like to start off by saying that James Weart is the best attorney I've had the privilege to know. I was facing some very serious charges in my initial arrest, that could have completely destroyed my life. Mr Weart however not only worked and fought for my case, he had the charges amend...ed, lessened, and had adjudication withheld, meaning I only had a small amount of probation to serve. I've never met anyone who worked as hard for his clients. I would highly recommend him for any and all legal needs.

one badass lawyer

I was going through a horrible time in my life. My girlfriend who I was very much in love with had broken up with me. I lost it and started back using drugs. I got arrested four times in two weeks. Mr. Weart handled my first three cases which were relatively minor, very well. However, the fourth... case was very serious and the state was trying to send me to prison for 4 years. Every other lawyer I spoke with about the case said your going to prison because the case is nearly impossible to beat. Mr. Weat took the case to a two day jury trial and after a very difficult trial the jury came back with a not guilty verdict. He was the first lawyer in Seminole County to get a not guilty on this type of sexually related charge. I would be sitting in prison today if I had hired another lawyer.
