Divorce is an awful thing to deal with. Steven will be the nicest person on the planet when you first see him, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. But once he has your money pray you don't experience what my partner did. You will only ever get to talk to his staff and they don't know what they are doi...ng most of the time. He is not aggressive in court. You will hardly ever be informed on what is going on and even then decisions will be made without consulting you. He is stressful to deal with and divorce is stressful enough without your lawyer adding more. Don't believe all the positive reviews anyone can make accounts and write reviews . Look hard at the negative ones and pray that you are not going to be the next person writing one. My honest opinion is if you are female and going through a divorce the worst decision you will ever make is to contract this lawyer and if you do you will remember reading this and wishing you took notice of it. The best thing that happened to my partner is she contracted a different lawyer before her divorce ended. Which obviously happens allot as Stevens staff informed her Steven usually sends out a nasty letter when people do that. And they were correct -he did.

I have used Mr. Bowden in the last ten years with matters related to Bankruptcy. He always kept me informed and I always knew everything that he was doing. Recently, I had to revisit an old bankruptcy issue, but even though he no longer does bankruptcy cases, he spoke to me in two different instances..., recommended another lawyer and then briefed my new attorney without me having to pay him a penny out of pocket. I consider that honorable, and says a lot about his character.

I cannot give a higher recommendation for Steven Bowden than this! My daughter was in dire circumstances—all of her own doing—and we were just hoping for the best. We found that Mr. Bowden was hard-working and knowledgeable, and he kept us informed throughout the entire legal process. Coming from ...out of state without any knowledge of Pensacola attorneys and picking one at random, I do not think we could have made a better choice. If I ever have any other issues requiring legal advice in Florida--personal or business-related--my first phone call would be to Steven Bowden without hesitation!

Steve Bowden has represented me in a variety of cases in the last twenty years. I continue to use him to represent me because of his professional and successful record with me and the people I have referred to him. The person that wrote the negative review on this page either did not listen to Steve'...s advice or was on the wrong side of the courtroom and is using this forum to hurt Steve's reputation because he lost badly. Steve has always taken the time to personally speak to me whenever I had questions about my case. Steve even took my call from the top of a mountain while he was on vacation, skiing in Aspen Colorado. I have recommended Steve to family, friends and business acquaintances and they have always been extremely happy with the results. I am currently using Steve to represent me in a matter of great importance to my family and I am justifiably confident that we will once again be successful.
