Steven Wesley Bowden

Talks in circles, pads his billing, sexist, unethical behavior, rude, arrogant, bully, liar, loves to threaten to withdraw, etc. Need I go on? Don't hire this man. At times I wasn't sure he wasn't working against me. He has no interest in justice, only concerned with lining his pockets while you suff...er. He and his staff lose every document you give them and one doesn't know what the other is doing. You usually won't get a response until you've made (and paid for) numerous requests.

This guy was snarky, and full of fire which is why I hired him, but then after getting him his money I became nothing, except him constantly asking for more money, after we had discussed and came to a fair price of which he said would be firm, so he lied to me about that, he abruptly stopped represen...ting me in mid meditation, cause he was worried about the client he had in his office and my case was making him late, he did not do his job in anyway, he just sat back, made my situation worse than what it was, and asked for more money at every turn after I paid him 5000 in advance cause he said that would cover everything including legal fees. I would not recommend you hire this guy, he will screw you over, unless your stuffing wads of money in his pockets.

Mr. Bowden discriminated against me as a woman. He applied heavy handed tactics to force me to settle my divorce case for much less than I should. He also refused to build a case for me, call my witnesses, issue subpoenas, hire expert witnesses, or do anything to prepare for going to court. Mr. Bo...wden refused to answer phone calls in the days before my scheduled hearing so I had to fire him. I am so glad I fired him it was the best thing possible.

I paid this attorney to represent my son in a family court matter. He wanted $2500 for all he needed to do and if he went to trial he would need an extra $2000. So I paid him the entire amount Just In Case...When they settled the matter with out going to trial. I asked my son to get the $2000 back... from him and he said the lawyer had told him he owed the money regardless and scratched out the original document and changed it to say he could take the whole amount and then had the nerve to bill him for additional fees.

Mr. Bowden was the 3rd attorney that I spoke to before I knew I had the right person to assist me in a very complicated divorce. Mr. Bowden was highly recommended by the second lawyer I spoke to who didn't feel like she had the expertise to assist with my complicated financial situation. Mr. Bowden... was sensitive to my situation and my desire to proceed with divorce proceedings without a knock down drag out. He knew he could "take my ex to the cleaners" but he followed my requests based on my concern for the repercussions children. I can honestly say I trusted Mr. Bowden and I am very grateful for the time and energy he put into my case.
