Alison cleaned up and enhanced my financial situation. I was in a bad time in my life and she explained my bankruptcy options thoroughly and did not make me feel judged whatsoever. She was very accommodating to my schedule, flexible and down to earth, which meant a lot to me. The only negative is tha...t after the 341 Meeting of the Creditors, but before discharge, there sometimes was a too much of a delay when I requested a status update on my case. I can honestly say that I will miss her correspondences, yet I hope I never have to use her bankruptcy services again. If I do, or if I ever meet someone who could use her services, I will definitely send them her way. I highly recommend Alison Emery. Before I was referred to Alison I was overwhelmed with under employment as a result of the economy, debt and a garnishment that made it impossible to meet my financial obligations as a single Mom. Prior to meeting Alison I had worked with an attorney to try and have... my wage garnishment stopped however it was denied. That same attorney actually recommended Alison and stated that she was the best at what she does. Upon my initial meeting with Alison the first impression I received was that she was very approachable, warm, genuinely concerned and empathetic about my situation. I was nervous at first about the process, mainly because in the meetings with my previous attorney, the representative for the company that was garnishing my check and the judge, I was left feeling guilty and with no hope. But it was much different with Alison, during our first meeting we talked and she educated me about the process, and put me at ease that she felt confident that I would have no issues with my bankruptcy case and that she was even going to work to get back my garnished wages! I left that first meeting with her, filled with hope and a sense of peace that I had not had in a long time, also once the process started Alison was able to have my garnishment stopped. I am very happy and pleased to say that in a relatively short period of time, my bankruptcy has been discharged, and I received a check from Alison right before Christmas for my wages that had been garnished for approximately 6 or 7 months! A tremendous load has been lifted off of my shoulders and I have a brand new start. I am looking forward patiently rebuilding my credit without the burden of debt and creditors. I am truly grateful for Alison and cannot say enough about her expertise and care that she provided me.
