Michelle Medina

Attorney Michelle Medina is considered a leading legal mind among both her clients and peers, past and present. While she attended University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, she had already made a name for herself as a legal professional on-the-rise during her internship as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable D. Levy. Her focus, commitment, and talents earned her many educational achievements and honors, such as becoming a recipient of the Minority Participation in Legal Education Full Scholarship. Michelle now calls Owenby Law, P.A. her home, where she plays a crucial role in the management of highly-complex divorce and estate planning cases.

Before she joined our law firm, Michelle expanded her legal knowledge and abilities through numerous employment opportunities and business ventures. She acted as an associate attorney and multidepartment manager for reputable law firms before opening her own private practice that focused on marital settlement agreements, corporate filings, and business contract drafting and review. Michelle also had the unique opportunity to be part of a three-person probate-mental health team for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 3rd District of the State of Florida. During her time on this groundbreaking team, she was tasked with representing indigent individuals in emergency guardianship and adult protective service cases, sometimes taking on up to 50 hearings in a single week.

Outside of her legal career, Attorney Michelle Medina spent two years in Benalmadena, Spain to teach English to locals who only spoke Spanish. She is also a proud Board Member and legal counselor pro bono for Samantha’s Purpose, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to increasing awareness of cerebral palsy.
