I would recommend Victoria to anyone, she is the best. I was charged with multiple felonies and facing 15 years, Tori was able to get me just one year of community control (probation). Anything that I ask of her, she has always been able to work with the prosecutor and judge to have it granted. So grateful I found her!!!!

I was recently incarcerated for 30 days total with 2 pending second degree felony sex charges. Initially, I was completely: lost, confused, anxious, angry, and scared of the outcome of what my case was going to be, as I had done nothing wrong. In today's world, all it takes is ONE PERSON, to say that you did something, and your entire future can be changed for the worse, even if their story is a complete fallacy. I met with 5 attorneys total prior to choosing "Tori" as she will tell you to call her, and picked her because of her: experience, professionalism, DETERMINATION, and a simple gut feeling that told me she was the one to help me. I am 29 years old, with no prior record aside from a DUI, and I have the privilege of a loving family that stood behind me during this horrible sex case debacle. Tori, was in full contact with me and my family (at my request), during the entire court proceedings. Tori has created relationships with prosecutors, other attorneys, and those you would assume would be beneficial in the "law world", and has maintained and nurtured those relationships to allow her the opportunity to assist her clients in the BEST POSSIBLE WAY. When Tori states she was going to do something, if not THAT DAY, then the very next, she was moving forward with my case. When I mentioned previously her DETERMINATION was a factor in me choosing her as my attorney let me elaborate a little on that. When I state DETERMINATION that also includes: passion for the law, a commitment to her clients, and that drive you see in her, that ambition, that knowledge, a commitment to excellence. Initially, during my first consult I thought her determination was aggressive to be honest, that it may deter a prosecutor or judge's ability to want to work with me, but it was just that, that got her to get my case DROPPED! I was facing a worse-case scenario of 30 years in prison, and now I am at home, sitting in my families house, and a little teary eyed writing this because when I think of recent events, and what could have happened, I just thank Tori so much for literally, saving my future. If you have been looking for an attorney that will fight for your best possible future, look no further, you found her.

Tori, as she likes to be called, is one of the best attorneys I've dealt with ever. She did an awesome job for me, but I got the sense that this was just her usual work. She's very experienced in the Jacksonville area with knowledge of all the judges and prosecutors. Very pleased with the job she did for me.

While trying to protect the privacy of my family I will try to explain how amazing Tori was through the last few months.
In a nutshell my child with pretty severe mental issues caused a nearly horrific outcome for our family. In one day our family went from typical in many ways to being ripped apart with no one willing to listen or look for the real cause.
We needed an attorney quick. It was a good thing we did hire Tori because there are a lot if logical steps families in our situation take that in the world of law are not the right ones to take. Had it not been for her guidance we potentially could have made life altering mistakes in the handling of the situation.
By some miracle we have gotten through this without the irreparable harm that could have been. No one had to face legal penalties from something they didn't do.
I called and emailed Tori so often I had to be driving her crazy but she was always reassuring. She was right. Things did work out well in the end and we are moving forward with our lives.
Thank you again Tori!

I was in a unique situation because I had a serious 3rd degree felony case that I needed to resolve in Jacksonville, FL but I currently am living in Colorado. I was being instructed by the County Clerk's Office in Jacksonville to turn myself in to authorities to clear my situation. That was not an option for me since I was just starting a new job and the need for me to resolve this case directly affected my job. I knew I needed to obtain a lawyer in Jacksonville to represent me to resolve this case. So I searched for defense lawyers in Jacksonville, FL and it had to be fate because the first lawyer that popped up in my search was Victoria Mussallem's Law Firm. When I read her firm's mission statement and read that she had never prosecuted anyone I knew this was a lawyer who would represent my best interest. Tori was kind and professional from the moment I consulted with her even calling me back after hours while she was at home with her family to provide me information that I wasn't even aware of in my case. Tori had won me over because she showed she was invested in my case before I even retained her, which I gladly did. In my case Tori assured me that she would do everything in her power to make sure that I would not have to travel from CO to FL to resolve this case. Tori kept her word. Tori asked for documents to help paint a picture of my character without me being there and illustrate that my case was one of simple mistake and not done fraudulently. Tori always kept me up to date on what was going on and I never felt out of the loop. Within a month Tori not only represented me without me being in court she got the entire case dropped with any outstanding warrants being dismissed.
I am so grateful for the dedicated work Tori did on my case. She not only resolved my legal issues for me but she helped keep me in good standings with my job and that is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Tori to anyone needing a great criminal defense lawyer, she is the woman for the job! Thank you Tori for everything you did for me!!

A rather unfortunate circumstance led me to retain Tori's services for my daughter. As an outsider to the legal system, I felt very scared about my daughter's future. Tori assured me that she would do everything in her power to ensure the best outcome for her. I am the first to acknowledge that I was not a patient parent and, at times, frustrated by the long process. However, Tori delivered on her promise and my daughter's life will forever be changed for the better because of Tori's advocacy for the best possible outcome. I recommend Tori wholeheartedly.

Victoria, is a true professional. She has defended me in two occasions. Both I was found not guilty. She does her research and is very detailed orinratated. She also has a great working relationship with the SA's office and judges. Very well known. I hope not to be accused again, however I needed her services again, I would hire with out even thinking twice about it.

Ms. Mussallem literally took my case the day I turned myself in. She defended me for a probation violation due to a clerical error in my paperwork. Not only did she come visit me in jail while the Judge put my case off for 65 days, she also kept my family informed and was completely honest about my chances and what she could do. She fought for me valiantly, and I was released from jail and put back on probation with revised paperwork. I called her out of desperation because I had already hired another lawyer who was completely incompetent. Thank you so much Ms. Mussallem. I could never express my gratitude for your representation.

First off, this was my first time (hopefully last time), I have to hire a lawyer for anything. It was not me, but someone very special to me that was arrested and a lot of times, it's pretty difficult for the person on "the outside" going through something like this. I hired Tori because of her great reviews, her many years experience, she was respectful and understanding (many of them are a little rough around the edges) and that was last thing I needed. She was also very inexpensive compared to other quotes I had received. She worked a payment plan with me and asked me what I could afford. She understands your situation and how expensive "life" can be in general, and doesn't want to see you struggle just to pay her off. She ACTUALLY CARES about everyone involved. THAT was huge to me and if I have to ever hire another lawyer, she will be it. She's also very "real". She doesn't sugar-coat the potential of what could happen in court - she gives you all outcomes which was very nervous for me to hear, but it also prepares you. She's also great at communicating with you, she's easy to get in contact with and when she's busy, she will always call you back. She has great working relationships with many of the prosecutors in the area and strives for the best possible outcome for her client. In my case, what she did is what I call "a realistic miracle". He could have faced a lot more time - Tori cut the time in half of what was being offered, he was credited time that he already served and needless to say, he'll be out in 3.5 mths. I am very satisfied with Tori's efforts and I highly recommend her.

Tori Mussallem did a great job in advising & helping us thru an extremely difficult time for our family.
She was always accessible & she gave us a tremendous sense of security about our case.
With Tori's help charges were dropped on one case and adjudication withed in another. She didn't judge our family in any shape or form but only helped us get thru the circumstances with a sense of kindness. Dealing with the law is already scary and frustrating enough Tori was able to make this scary experience as painless as possible. I recommend Tori to anyone that is looking for an honest caring lawyer that will do her job because she loves helping people in need and not because she got paid for it.
