Results driven!

After being charged with DUI in 2014, Mark came highly recommended from a friend whose opinion and judgment I trust. Mark navigated the process expertly. I was able to keep my driving privileges throughout and, when the prosecutor refused to negotiate a lesser charge, Mark tried my case to a not g...uilty jury verdict. While others sometimes look for the easiest way out of a case (often to their client's detriment), Mark is obsessed with driving the result his client wants. In my case, that was a total victory--exactly the result Mark obtained.

I'm not in jail

My father and grandmother passed within a few months of time. I literally went through a dark time in my life. I would never encourage people to drink and drive and pray I never will again. I had 2 DUI's within months. Within 1 years time, I plead to reckless driving charges with no jail time. M...ark is the bomb ! I have the paperwork to prove it or you can call me !!!!

Best Possible Experience

I was referred to Mark Hansford through a friend and am lucky beyond belief that I was. Mark is, first of all, the least judgmental lawyer you will ever meet and you will feel at ease and at home with him and his team immediately. I spent no longer than 1 hour in his office and two years lafter, wit...hout lifting a finger, my case has been dropped!!! This is exactly what Mark predicted in our first (and only) meeting. If I ever got a miscellaneous letter from the court, I'd pick up the phone and call or email Mark immediately. He ALWAYS got back to me within 24 hours with the same reassuring response, "don't, worry. we've got this." I never worried for a minute while I was traveling around the world for two years. I could have come back home to deal with a DUI, but instead, I'm free to live my life as if nothing ever happened!! (I will still not be drinking and driving). To give you a little insight into the unliklihood of a judge finding me innocent, I'll tell you a few details of my case: I did run into a fire hydrant at 4:00 in the morning on a Saturday night. Pretty unlikely I wasn't guilty, right? Well, Mark got me off with flying colors and his team has never been so calm, respectful, and helpful in liberating me of a terrible stamp on my record for all future employers to see. I also plan to leave America again soon to return to the new life I've found outside these borders, and it wouldn't have been possible without this team. I recommend them time and time again. Thank you so much Mark and team!!! y'all are one of the best things that have ever happened to me. :))

Mark is a phenomenal and professional attorney

For 3 years I had a DUI charge looming over me and threatening my record -- threatening my future. Mark fought to help me beat a dishonest police officer and a court that wanted me to plead guilty and wear this scarlet letter for the rest of my life. After I was pulled over for driving recklessly... -- which was completely untrue and later proven as such -- I, mistakenly, submitted to a breathe test because I knew I wasn't impaired after one beer—I blew a 0.081. My arrest was the first time I had ever been in trouble with the law; I've never even received a speeding ticket. Yet, Fulton County wouldn't budge to reduce my charges of DUI per se/less safe and reckless driving. The prosecutor and judge wanted to throw the book at me, but Mark and I wouldn't let them. So, we went to trial. Mark exposed the prosecution's witness testimony as inaccurate and contradictory, as well as the faults within the police department's antiquated testing equipment which Mark proved, by the state's own admission no less, as having up to a 5% variance. The prosecution subsequently dropped the DUIs and reckless driving charges, leaving me to plead no contest to running a red light (illegal right on red apparently). I am forever grateful and thankful to Mark because he stood up for me when I needed it the most. After my 3 long years of motion hearings and calendar calls, during which I saw people enter guilty pleas due to their sheer exhaustion from the legal process, Mark gave me the confidence and will to keep fighting. I highly recommend Mark if you are looking for an attorney that truly cares about his clients. If you are looking for legal representation, Mark Hansford is one of the best in Georgia.
