I love helping people get the information they need to tackle their individual legal situation. I focus my practice on workers' compensation and veterans disability law, so there are similarities from case to case. But, I know that each person's case is different and important because so much is at stake. Our firm and I are committed to guiding clients through their cases to achieve the best results possible. Check out our free resources on our website to learn more about the type of case you have and let us know if you would like our help.
Of particular interest to me are catastrophic workers' compensation claims and TDIU (or "total disability based on individual unemployability") claims in veterans disability. I have years of experience and contacts within the expert witness community to prove these cases and successfully attain benefits for clients who are disabled from regular employment. In the VA realm, I also enjoy helping clients with their PTSD, herbicide exposure ("Agent Orange"), and other disabilities.
I received my undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Georgia as a First Honor Graduate. I also received my law degree with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004. I teamed up with my current law partner after graduation and have devoted my career to representing injured workers and veterans in Workers’ Compensation and Veterans Benefits claims. I am accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans in veterans benefit claims.
I am a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association, Workers’ Compensation Claimants’ Lawyers, and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. I am a founding board member of the West Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association and have previously served as past President of that group. In 2014, I was recognized by The National Trial Lawyers in their "Top 100 Trial Lawyers."
