Former State of Georgia Assistant District Attorney, now practicing solely Criminal Defense
One aspect I enjoy as a Criminal Defense attorney is the ability to put my client's mind at ease. Clearly, facing criminal charges is stressful to say the least. I have spent my entire career as a practicing attorney focused solely on Criminal Law, and I feel very comfortable dealing with all of its various aspects. I believe this fact translates well with my clients and allows them to feel better about their situation from the moment we first meet. Clients want, and deserve, to be informed and kept abreast, and I do my best to never fail them in that regard. Basically, I aim to treat my clients the way I would want myself or a family member to be treated.
Practice areas
I represent those alleged to have committed criminal offenses in the State of Georgia. These include felonies--Violent Offenses, Sex Crimes, Drug Possession, and Property Crimes, as well as misdemeanors such as Driving Under the Influence and Marijuana Possession (<1 oz.). Having served as a prosecutor for four years and a criminal defense attorney since 2004, I am comfortable handling all types of criminal cases throughout Georgia in the State and Superior Courts.

Ross Grisham is an excellent attorney who knows the law. I have known Ross for several years and worked with him on several occasions while I was a prosecutor and he as the defense attorney. He zealously advocates for his clients and obtains great results on their cases. I highly endorse Ross Grisham and his firm.

Ross Grisham is well known in Georgia as one of the top criminal defense attorneys. I had the privilege of working with him as a paralegal before I attended law school myself. He taught me the foundation of what it means to be a a caring, ethical, and zealous attorney for my clients. He truly cares for his clients best interest. I admire his work ethic and his tireless effort to help his clients as they face criminal charges. I would recommend him and his firm to anyone facing criminal charges.

Ross is my go-to-guy when I have a question about how to work with a particular prosecutor. He knows all of them and can work well with them but also against them when that is what the case requires.

Since he has been in private practice, he utilizes those same traits for his clients. You will not go wrong with Ross as your attorney. I recommend him in any criminal case.

Clarence Darrow, Perry Mason, Ross Grisham. All 3 names evoke trembling fear in the hearts of prosecutors who must deal with them defending their clients. Because of his prior experience as a prosecutor, Ross knows all of their tricks and will not fall for them. Ross prides himself on his ability to seek the best result for his clients and leaves no stone unturned in an effort to obtain a successful resolution. A pillar in the legal community indeed.

There's no doubt who I'd turn to if I faced a criminal charge. The lawyers at Grisham & Poole have earned their stellar reputation. Much of the credit has to go to Ross Grisham, the firm's founder. Ross is dedicated to his clients, and he treats them with honesty and respect. He is fantastic both behind the scenes and in the courtroom, and you need a lawyer who is good at both. I've learned a lot from him (especially about DUI--Ross is an expert), and our friendship has made me a better lawyer. You should call him now.

Ross Grisham is a true powerhouse in Criminal Defense circles. He is experienced and savvy. I highly recommend Ross to anyone that may need a criminal defense lawyer. He is a "10" for sure.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I endorse this lawyer. When I used to take court appointed cases in Cherokee County, Georgia I tried one of Ross's first felony trials when he was a prosecutor in the DA's office. Unfortunately I got the silver medal (and he got the gold...) but his superior's orders about what plea to offer to any foreign national Defendant allegedly without authorization to be in the U.S. placed my client into the position where my client wound up significantly better off because he turned down the plea offer which I easily could have accepted. Jurors just seem to like him which is no small part of a criminal trial.
Ross is a fantastic lawyer who I work with in Canton. I think he is a consummate professional, who finds the balance between being kind and respectful while being aggressive and thorough for his clients. I would recommend him for any matter no matter the complexity.
Michael Burns, Criminal defense Attorney on Oct 15, 2013

Having previously worked with Ross, I feel confident in recommending him for any client of mine that has found himself or herself in need of an attorney with criminal defense experience. Ross provides a high level of service to his clients, first helping them to achieve a realistic outlook on their situation and then going to work on their behalf, helping them achieve the best results available. He and his staff make every effort to keep their clients informed throughout the process, and his knowledge of the law and the court system makes him an invaluable resource to anyone facing criminal charges. Simply put, Ross is a great attorney and a great guy.
Marion Pope, Criminal defense Attorney on Aug 22, 2013

Ross has my unequivocal recommendation. I am not the only attorney that rates Ross as top in his field. He is knowledgeable about the law and a fierce advocate for his clients. Any of his clients should consider themselves well represented.
