When Attorney Herron takes your case she gives it 100%. She takes the time to explain to you the steps needed, how she will go about it and most importantly takes the fight to the other camp. Attorney Herron, took my case when I thought everything was lost and she fought along side with me every s...tep of the way and gave me the best possible outcome. She is a lawyer that treats you like a person, not just a paycheck. Her service and her team are excellent. This has been the worst experience ever. I came to her last December to get an increase in my child support. Then in March when Covid hit they went missing. No updates! Finally in August I requested a refund for the difference in the retainer which was $1700. There was no replies to my emails or pho...ne calls. Finally spoke to her assistant Devon and he was no help. He told me that he had other more important cases they were working on and he will get to it when he can. September he finally requested to be removed from case. They were officially removed in October and I still haven’t received a refund. I’ve called them 3 times a week and get no call back or response to emails. I was forced to contact the Bar association which is still a process with Covid. I forgot to mention she filed a paternity case for visitation and child support. Paternity was already established as well as child support I just needed an increase. I am a single mother and took out a loan to pay her and now they refuse to refund me. She pretends to care in the beginning but she doesn’t. I have paid almost $1800 in fees for nothing. Now a new lawyer has to file for the correct type of case.They don’t return calls, emails and her assistant is Rude!!! Please beware of this Law Firm.

Ms. Herron handled my divorce 5 years ago. I called her up again because my ex-husband stopped paying child support. My ex-husband had a great lawyer and was known for throwing curveballs. With her intimate knowledge of the other attorney, she was able to prep my case. The moment she arrived at ...the courthouse, my ex-husband attorney wanted to speak to her before the judge called our case (asking to dismiss/settle), and Ms. Herron laid the law DOWN. She rattled off numbers, how many times we attempted to settle, how many times we have gave a continuance, and now they wanted to wait last minute to provide any documents. In my mind, I was shouting..."you tell him." I felt like it was a scene out the movies. Judge asked Ms. Herron to explain the case, and she did it so smoothly. She even explained their attempts to prolong the case and my mistakes. The other attorney just sat there---speechless. She laid out my case so well. Judge turned to the other attorney and asked if they could refute any of items stated and they couldn't and she ruled in the best interest of the child. The only question the judge asked me "Is everything your attorney stated is true"--I didn't need to explain or provide any more details to the Judge. I walked out of court with an increase in my monthly child support, payment plan for the back child support, and the first of three purge payment was due in 30 days and I was even awarded back alimony (which I wasn't even asking for because I just wanted the child support) I didn't know whether to hug Ms. Herron, kiss Ms. Herron, or shout for joy---I did all three! I was an emotional wreck before court, and when I walked out I was shedding tears of joy! Ms. Herron was phenomenal. I could've asked for a better attorney. She is very honest, great listener, humble, and fights for her clients. She gives the best advice, uses her expert judgment and experience to truly explain the case to client as well as the Judge. Truly phenomenal!!!
