Amazing lawyer for my complex divorce case, great staff, worth every penny

Andee has been very understanding, knowledgeable, and effective. With my divorce case being multifaceted, I had many concerns and questions. Her ability to guide me through this process and avoid potential pitfalls really helped me. As a father seeking primary custody of my children, I feel like the deck was stacked against me, but Andee has guided me through the process and I have achieved exactly what I was seeking. It was a hard fought battle, but she stuck by me through it all. She makes judicious use of time to maximize the work output for me, and her staff is very conscientious. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone going through a divorce and have already done so myself.

My divorce case

I had a wonderful experience with Andee as my attorney during my divorce. My husband was extremely difficult, and had significant personality issues. He made outrageous and unreasonable demands, and I was certain that the divorce would be drawn-out, complicated and extremely expensive. Andee cut through all of the issues like a knife. I know that it is unusual, but I received exactly what I was seeking and my divorce was over much more quickly than I ever could have imagined or hoped. She handled things for me in a professional way, and I ended up with much more than I expected in the settlement and the entire of the cost was a fraction of what I had anticipated! With Andee working for and with me, the whole process turned out much better than it could have and I am grateful to her every day for standing by my side through this process.

Excellent family law attorney

My case was extraordinarily difficult. It was a terrible divorce, and a horrible custody battle. Originally I thought I was going to represent myself in order to save money. That would have been an huge mistake. Andee was amazing. These women not only kept me sane, but also helped me keep primary custody of my children. Were it not for Andee's expert counsel, I know I would have made errors that would have cost me custody of my children. I know she had other cases and clients, but her and her team always made me feel like my case was important. Andee Hastings is my hero. I want my daughter to be just like her when she grows up. Her and her entire team protected me at every turn and helped my understand every step of the process. I can't recommend Andee and this law firm enough.

Excellent Attorney for Complex Divorce and Property Division

Waggoner Hastings represented me in divorce case with complex property division. The attorneys listened and often comforted. They understood and believed a positive result was possible. They fought hard and represented me well. I was always keep appraised of the status of my case and informed on next steps. There is a friendly and personal style with this firm. I never felt like one of a hundred cases, sometimes I felt like mine was the only one. When we did go to court, the other side did not seem prepared at all. We were, and I could tell by the judge’s reaction, that I had made the right choice. My attorney was very prepared and the judge respected that. I was very pleased with the results and I received a fair settlement and the judge ordered the other side to pay my attorney’s fees. I did not know until later, that having a judge make the other side’s attorney pay for attorney’s fees is a real victory! I highly recommend Andee Hastings and Waggoner Hastings Family Law.

Highly recommend Andee!

I hired Andee for my divorce case. I had another lawyer that I had to let go because he wouldn't respond to me and I didn't feel he truly cared about me or my case. I was given Andee's name. I can say that she will fight for you, your children, and your future. She is very responsive, and has a wonderful team that was available to me when she was in court or trial or mediation. She was a step ahead of the other side at every turn. Her and her team's representation was worth every penny. I highly recommend her.

Experienced - Trustworthy - Passionate

I attempted to handle what should have been a simple divorce as a pro bono defendant. The opposing party and his sleazy attorney continued to attempt to bulldoze me into ridiculous settlement offers - lose my house? give up my dogs? NO! It became clear I was in way over my head, so I engaged Mrs. Hastings and her firm to handle my now exceptionally contentious divorce matter. I was feeling pretty defeated, but once she stepped in, the game changed - I received way more than I anticipated in terms of property and alimony, but more than that I gained peace of mind. You cannot put a value on that! I have recommended Mrs. Hastings and her firm to anyone and everyone in need of an engaged, knowledgable, confident and fearless attorney, and will continue to do so. The whole firm was just lovely to deal with and I really feel that they genuinely care. Oh... and the dogs didn't go anywhere!

Exceptional, compassionate, brilliant attorney

I found Andee after searching online. I truly feel that I was led to her office, and her specifically. From the get-go, Andee showed me she cared and was concerned with me and the needs of my children. She immediately understood things about my situation that I didn't even yet understand, She is very kind, truly knowledgable in the field of family law, she listens, and guides through every step of the process in a way that I don't believe another attorney could have accomplish. She was always available for my questions leading up to the trial/hearing, or my efforts simply to just try to understand the process and why my soon-to-be-ex was being so difficult and what the plan was to deal with that. She always had a plan, and that constantly calmed my anxieties. She was well organized, prepared, and above all, it always felt like she was genuinely interested in not only succeeding, but also in my case. In court, I was even more impressed by her strategy and presence. I always felt like I knew what was going on in my case and what our strategy was for handling difficult issues, and she always kept me well-informed about the situation. I have hired her again four times for ongoing issues since my divorce, and I have recommended her to people close to me that need exceptional representation. I will always be grateful to Andee for being by my side through this process, and continuing to be by my side as we navigate the post-divorce world. For a Divorce and custody lawyer, you can't go wrong with Andee

I found Andee through another client when I was in search of a divorce lawyer. She came so highly recommended that I insisted upon meeting her. After researching her and her firm her firm, she was my choice. Andee is highly professional, very experienced and tremendously knowledgeable in divorce, custody and child support (which were the issues that I had to deal with). One thing I appreciated the most was her candor in helping me to assess the cost-benefit of where to have her and her team work "for" me, and when the cost was going to be greater than the "fight". She always allowed me to make the ultimate decisions, but I was able to do that from an informed position. When it seemed that I was making decisions from an emotional standpoint, Andee was great at providing rational options or strategies focused on the desired outcomes for my case, along with pratical guidance that was most appropriate for achieving those goals. She kept me grounded and focused through the entire process. I also knew that she not only cared about me as a client, but as a person, and that meant so much to me during such a difficult process. Her strategic thinking skills and legal guidance were outstanding and contributed to reaching a fair settlement. I would highly recommend Andee. I highly recommend Andee Hastings

I was referred to Andee for my divorce case by an attorney that I respect and trust. He did not let me down in his recommendation. Andee helped me through one of the most heart-wrenching, scary times in my life. I did not expect my divorce and was not emotionally prepared for any of it. Andee shepherded me through the process with compassion, dedication, skill and professionalism. She was extremely responsive to me, and she very patiently answered all of my questions while also keeping her eye on my goals in my case. She ultimately negotiated a very favorable settlement for me, and I could not be more grateful. Her understanding of the law and ability to understand people and their situations is not to be underestimated. Highly recommend this outstanding professional

Andee Hastings provided exemplary service during an extremely difficult time in my life and the lives of my children. Andee was highly recommended to me by another client when I was in search of a child support/custody attorney. Andee is highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very experienced in her area of legal concentration, family law. One thing I appreciated the most was her willingness to tell me what I needed to hear and what my "risks" were in pursuing certain issues that may hurt more than help me. I always knew she was standing right by my side and had my best interests at heart, and the best interests of my children. She allowed me the ability to make the decisions, but with all of the information I needed to do so and not simply based on my emotional reaction to the situation. She protected me more than I can say in doing that for me. When I was making emotional decisions, Andee gave me legal, logical, rational options that moved me toward my goals in my case. Excellent family law/divorce attorney

Andee represented me in my divorce. She and her team worked very well on my case. The cards were stacked against me financially and with regards to custody, but I ended up with a fair and equitable settlement thanks to Andee's knowledge and those of her staff. She was very cost efficient as well. She was thoughtful, professional, and had a deep understanding of the law. I have spoke with others who wish they could have divorced with a result like the one I received. I strongly recommend Andee.

Trustworthy & Compassionate

Ms. Hastings is bright, knowledgeable, objective, and compassionate - all qualities that make for an amazing attorney. Great divorce/child custody attorney if you can afford her!

I hired Andee and her team for my divorce/child custody case. Five months from the day my ex husband filed for divorce, our case ended up being settled in mediation (no litigation was involved, even though I had initially expected that we would have to litigate due to the high conflict between my ex and I). Joint custody was the final outcome in my case, which was my goal from the very start. Andee and her team thoroughly worked on my case from start to finish, frequently updated me on the progress of my case, and consequently won me the results I had wanted to begin with. However, please be forewarned that ANDEE HASTINGS & HER TEAM ARE VERY EXPENSIVE TO HIRE! I'M TALKING TRIPLE THE COST OF MOST OTHER DIVORCE/CHILD CUSTODY ATTORNEYS! IF YOU DO HIRE ANDEE, EXPECT TO PAY OUTRAGIOUS ATTORNEY FEES THAT WILL TAKE YEARS TO PAY OFF! PLEASE EXPECT DEBT FOR MANY, MANY YEARS FOR A DIVORCE THAT IS SETTLED IN MEDIATION ALONE! Andrea Hastings - beware

Andrea Hastings represented me in a 2008 divorce when a partner her previous law firm. After spending an exorbitant amount of money we were consistently losing every aspect of my case. I was shocked to learn after she withdrew my case that she had little to no experience in domestic trials in Fulton county. She was transitioning from being a prosecutor in the Conyers area and getting her feet wet at my expense. I lost literally everything in my divorce - over four million dollars in cash and assets.
