I had a very complicated case and was going back and forth, to the immigration court having been put in removal proceedings in Feb. 2009 in New Orleans. My first attorney was only available when it was time to make payments to him. After paying him, he becomes invisible only to reappear in the next... pay date. However, everything changed when I moved from Louisiana to Atlanta and contacted Victor Okeke’s office in Aug. 2013. Victor immediately filed a motion to transfer my file from New Orleans immigration court to Atlanta immigration court which was granted. Victor listens more and talks less, but his actions speak volumes. He is very honest, thorough and dedicated. I had a stokes interview in Nov. 2014 and my I-130 was approved same week in November. My court case was closed in March 2015, after Victor Filed a motion to terminate my immigration proceedings and my I-485 was transferred to USCIS for adjudication. We were called for another interview for my I-485 in June 2015, but my wife could not show up due to work related issues. Victor filed a brief and successfully argued that my wife’s presence be waived for the interview. It was granted and I was interviewed and my I-485 was approved. I now have my 10 year green card in my pocket. Having dealt with more than one attorney, I will highly recommend that you contact Victor Okeke’s office if you have any dealings with either USCIS or immigration court.
