Victor Ifeanyi Okeke

I filed an affirmative Asylum when I arrived here in the United States, which the USICS officer denied and referred me to the Immigration Court for removal process because my permission had expired. The lawyer who helped me at this point backed out and I had to hire a second lawyer whose charges were... so expensive that left me with huge debts and agony, his reasons being that my case was too bad and he needed to work more. Even with the huge amount paid he could not guarantee any success. Eventually my case with the immigration court also was denied and I was ordered to be removed. We went through BIA and I kept on fighting for my life and family's survival. Wow! What can I say about Victor, yes l called him by Victor because he treated me like family the moment I met him for a consultation. I got my 2yr temp GC. My husband and I filed by ourselves and was approved. It came time to remove the conditions and we went to the lawyer in Norcross. We filled out our paperwork info on a sample paper for the secretary to type out the one being sent out to INS. Instead, they sent out the samples w...e filled out, which were not signed. INS returned it back to the lawyer and the secretary called us to let us know they returned the forms. We went in and that's when we realized she had sent in the sample forms we filled out. We made no biggie of the situation. I notified the lawyer of his secretary's error but he did nothing. Also get this, the secretary signed off on all the forms, not the lawyer. Made me wonder what we were paying for. The lawyer just basically looked at our evidences and said all was fine but they may send an RFE if anything is needed. This was in september and we got RFE in december. We sent in more paperwork but got called for interview few months later. By this time, my husband and I had issues and marriage was dissolved. I had to go for interview myself. The lawyer just advised me to withdraw the case and start all over and pay him a set of new fees. I decided to seek another opinion. This is when my friend referred me to Victor. He spoke in detail to me and analyzed my case and told me of the option of a waiver which would save me new filing fees.
