Robby has achieved remarkable success for his clients due to his ability to get to the root of the problem and convince judges, jurors and opposing parties and counsel of the righteousness of his clients’ position. Whenever the clients’ position is untenable, Robby will advise his clients of the obstacles they face in achieving the goals they set out. Robby works tirelessly for his clients and is always the most prepared lawyer in the courtroom. Because of his preparation, the predicted outcome is more likely to occur than not.

Robby Hughes is a down-to-earth lawyer. He understands the daily challenges that people face and gives them the legal advice they need to deal with the problems they present to him.
Robby began practicing law in 1992 after earning a J.D. degree at Georgia State University College of Law. Prior to putting himself through law school, he was a co-founder and owner of his family’s printing business, Network Publications, Inc.
During his time in business, Robby realized how tough it was for small businesses to get good legal advice. He and his family spent thousands of dollars dealing with legal issues they could have avoided with proper legal counsel. Robby also learned first-hand what it means to operate a small business: “I have been the guy who unlocked the door in the morning and locked the door at night and did whatever it took in the times in between to make it work.”
Robby aims to be the kind of lawyer his family’s business needed – someone who looks to the horizon, sees problems or opportunities coming, and offers realistic legal advice that a small business owner has the time and money to implement. His greatest reward is solving difficult problems and saving money for his clients. His areas of practice include probate and trust litigation, commercial litigation, civil litigation and wrongful death.
Robby received the Gwinnett County Bar Association Pro Bono Project Award in 1993 and 2003, and earned the 10 Year Award from the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation Saturday Lawyer Program in 2001.
Robby is licensed to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Courts of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court and the 11th District Court of Appeals.
Robby earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management, with a minor in finance, in 1977 from Florida State University.

Even though Robby was unable to accept my case, he listened to my concerns, he was supportive, and he pointed me in the right direction. We really appreciate your time, Robby.

I hired Mr Hughes to address a forged Will and a conspiratory scheme I uncovered my half siblings were using against to to defraud me out of my inheritance. Hughes refused to do anything he agreed to when he took my money (Over $10,000) and simply aided the other side. I cant express my disappoin...
I do not like hearing we have a disappointed client. Our first goal is to make sure our clients are satisfied with the work we have performed. Our first job when hired is to investigate the facts and the situation. Unfortunately, sometimes, our clients’ beliefs cannot be proven and other facts come to light contrary to our clients’ interests. Although hard, we must tell clients we simply cannot prove what they want us to prove. There is little chance of winning with the facts developed. To stop pursuing a case for a client is difficult. We poured our efforts into proving what our clients believe to be the truth. However, we should tell them as soon as we realize where the case stands than to allow the matter to go to trial and our client spend thousands of extra dollars unnecessarily. I invite the client to contact my office to see if there is something we can do to make things right for our client. No one likes a bad outcome, but they occur occasionally.

"First, Robby is a great boss but he wouldn't reprimand me if I disagreed with him. Second, he knows his Probate law (among other types of law). Third, I've never met another lawyer who spoke poorly of Robby. He is effective in his arguments, respected by Judges and peers and an all-around good guy. He doesn't play dirty and isn't afraid to tell a client the truth. He likes to take the "weird" cases; the ones that will change the law in Georgia. I've learned a lot about lawyering from Robby and would recommend him to anyone...even if he wasn't my boss."
