I used Lee as my divorce attorney several years ago at the recommendation of an attorney friend who does not do "domestic" work. My first impression was that he was knowledgeable and dedicated to doing a good job. Having worked for an attorney and having several in my family (out of state,) I felt... I'd chosen well. The first red flag was when he asked me to come up with a settlement--not a "let's look at what property, investments, and other assets you have & go from there..." but "you go home, write this up, and I'll look it over." (Hmm isn't that what I'm paying YOU $$$ to do??) When I suggested that my ex very possibly had accounts & investments (through his business) that I didn't know about, he said I should just forget about those; it was too hard to track them down. The last straw was on the day we went to court; he told me to meet him at the courthouse, I arrived 10-15 minutes early, and he basically told me to go sit in the coffee shop and he'd come get me when he was ready. My settlement was OK, not great, but the good news is I AM DIVORCED.
