Biography
I represent individuals and business owners in cases involving breach of contract, shareholder, partnership and other business disputes, consumer and investor fraud, personal injury and wrongful death. I guide clients through the legal process under some of the most trying circumstances they face, always governed by their best interests.
As a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, I am committed to the preservation of the civil justice system and the constitutional right to a jury trial. I am peer-rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for ethics and skill, and was honored by recognition as one of Georgia's top plaintiff attorneys by Georgia Trend's 2009 Legal Elite publication. In addition to my law practice, I am a part-time instructor in the Kessler-Edison Trial Techniques Program and State Bar of Georgia Orientation on Professionalism at Emory University School of Law, as well as a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia.

Rivell et al. v. Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. et al. (Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals)
Trial court's dismissal of plaintiffs' claims was overruled; held that plaintiffs' appropriation claim was not precluded by plaintiffs' network agreements
Austin v. Ameriquest Mortgage Corp. (U.S. District Court, Northern Dist. of GA)
Plaintiff's motion was granted, and the case was transferred back to state court rather than being combined with hundreds of other lawsuits pending in federal court. Case later settled for confidential sum.
Lam v. Nationwide (Georgia Court of Appeals)
Held that plaintiff was entitled to recover for aggravation of mental illness, despite having suffered no physical injury.
