Help with nursing facility placement

My wife was diagnosed with dementia in 2022, but it apparently had begun at least a year before that. i kept her at home with me as long as i could, but ultimately it was unsafe for her to stay here as we have a staircase into the basement which she had tumbled down twice this year. i hired the Hurle...y Elder Care firm to fast track a Medicaid application and for assistance with locating a nursing facility. The firm did an amazing job as it was only 6 weeks and 1 day from the time i had an initial consultation to her placement in a facility. Everyone i met was understanding and helpful. i would highly recommend anyone needing such assistance to make Hurley Elder Care Law their first contact.

Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Hurley Elder Care Law. This firm has been very helpful and kind. From day one I felt that we had made the right decision. We worked with Paul Abrahamson -Benefit Specialist and he was exceptional. The whole team has always been quick to return a call, answer a question and... put me at ease. I am very thankful for the extra kindness and knowledge that they gave during the transition of placing my love one in a nursing facility and getting everything in order.

Highly Professional Goal Driven Firm

Miles Hurley’s firm helped me very efficiently and effectively created a concise notebook of a Will, power of attorney, health care directives and assisted me with assistance to legally place my husband on Medicaid so we could afford the extraordinary costs associated with skilled nursing homes. Aft...er my husband passed away they again assisted me with creating a living trust. I’m so grateful to this group of highly trained professionals who exemplified excellence across the board . I know my heirs will have a definitive action plan to follow upon my death. Thank you Miles and team !

The best of the best!

From the very first day I could tell we made an excellent choice when we hired Hurley Elder Care attorney. They treated us like we were their only client. There IS a lot of paperwork that needs to be done. However, a staff member came to our home and slowly and methodically explained each section o...f the DNR, the Wills, the application for Medicaid and a plethora of forms necessary to removing “worry” from our future. I won’t kid you, at my age, 81, trying to contact each of our utilities and banks , providing them documents they would need to make changes was a tedious task but again by contacting the appropriate Hurley employee when I ran into a snag and having them quickly respond was a priceless asset. They stayed with me every step of the way and were patient and kind if I became frustrated. Several times it was necessary to have them be on a particular call so they could lend their expertise. We have finally reached the point where all our goals have been achieved. Sincere thanks to Mr. Hurley, Nicole and Alexis. Their input, professionalism and warm personalities solidified our decision to hire Hurley Elder Care Law
