I was referred to him by another prominent attorney and after my initial conversation with Chris, I knew that he was the attorney that I both wanted and needed. While going through a very unpleasant and stressful divorce and custody, Chris provided me with th...e comfort and assurance that I sought. He was very much engaged in my case and he and his staff made me feel like family by making themselves readily available to me. If Chris was not available, there was Michelle (his assistant) who gave me the support and encouragement that i needed to get through this tumultuous time in my life . Chris went through great lengths to make sure that things worked out in my favor. It would take more than a paragraph for me to explain the wonders that Chris made for me. I am FOREVER grateful that God placed him in my life during my extreme time of need. I WILL be hiring him again for sure! We sought Mr. McClurg's legal advice regarding guardianship of our niece. He was extremely thorough in reviewing our concerns and addressing what solutions were possible. There is no doubt he knew the law extremely well as he advised us quickly on what our possibilities were. He followed up his ad...vice with research on similar cases to present evidence to us on how the case might proceed. He also helped us minimize our legal costs. I definitely recommend Mr. McClurg for guardianship and custody issues.

Beware of Chris McClurg. In the beginning before you pay him he seems like an honest trustworthy guy ready to help. As soon as he was paid that was not the case. Where do I begin? I hired this Attorny for my wife in a custody battle with her ex husband. Chris is by far the worst Attorny I have ever ...come across. Not only did her ex husband get granted custody but he left us with debt and walked out on our case. When I had questions he told me "he can't answer any of my questions" because I'm not his client. So he has no problem taking money from me but can't answer my questions? So when my wife questions him he uses a withdraw tactic. This layer is a fraud. Doesn't follow up with you or prep you before court. Just shows up to court with a non caring attitude trying to wing it. After the hearing he just disappears with no further instructions. Mr. McCrug is never reachable. He is always "in court or on vacation" and is bad about responding to emails and messages. Seems like he takes on to many cases then he can handle. He had my wife sign documents she didn't agree to. When we told him we wouldn't sign he told us he would withdraw. When asked him to amend documents, again wanted to withdraw. He just does what he wants with your case and doesn't bother explains anything. Overall, the worst Attorny I have ever hired. I wouldn't recomend this Attorny to my worst enemy. Please save the money or find someone else. Not only did we have to fire him but our next case is still pending and we have to find someone else to handle or final case.

I had the same experience as this person with this lawyer years back it was the same exact scenario I hired this person to represent me in a child custody case. He clearly does not care about his clients well being. I am going to file a complaint against him to the GA BAR . Mr McClurg has a pattern h...e uses to acquire your case and a tactic to withdraw from your case leaving you with no service rendered and without refunding your money. He has a blatant disregard for some of his clients. Because of this lawyer I am in debt and was forced to get another lawyer and get further in debt. This lawyer is the worst that I have seen and he clearly robbed me without a gun. If you are just getting by on your income, please do not hire this lawyer. Yup i agree keep your money or hire someone else

I recently used Chris to help me legitimate and get joint custody of my toddler son. This was not a easy case by any means considering the history between myself and my child’s mother. Chris knew exactly what I wanted and then went out there and was able to get it for me . From the start this cas...e was difficult as I knew it would be but I trusted Chris, followed his direction, and everything turned out better than I expected . I will definitely use him in the future if I ever need another attorney for any reason . The only downfall to Chris is he is a OSU fan which you will see when you visit his office . Oh well not everyone can be perfect.
