Excellent
Mr. McClurg is a man of his word. If he says he's going to do something, he does it. I am so thankful to have him represent my family in a recent adoption case. Even though he was on vacation during the process, he continued to work & file the necessary paperwork to make sure it was completed in a t...

Great attorney
Chris was able to get the defendant in my case to agree to everything I asked for. Chris is a very efficient and talented attorney. I would recommend him to any friends needing legal assistance. Thanks Chris.

proven excellence!
My family and I have hired Mr McClurg over the past 11 years for various issues (domestic, civil, criminal) and have recommended him to many friends. One of his best attributes is his drive to gather all information and understand how it can help your case. He isn't afraid of a challenge and resear...

Thee BEST Attorney in Georgia!
Chris is undoubtedly an amazing attorney. I was referred to him by another prominent attorney and after my initial conversation with Chris, I knew that he was the attorney that I both wanted and needed. While going through a very unpleasant and stressful divorce and custody, Chris provided me with th...

Typical Lawyer Behavior?
Choose this guy to represent my business regardless of some bad reviews, big mistake . Arrogant, did not keep me informed of what he was going to do, or what he wanted me to do. Unavailable by phone and slow or no response to emails. Same behavior that resulted in the bad reviews posted.
I have reviewed every email sent/received from this client. Most were responded to same/next day. Over a 4 month period, I sent/responded to at least 70 emails from this client (many of which were re-explaining previously communicated information/updates). I met with this client in my office on multiple occasions, including with his wife and son, and explained to them the legal and factual defenses to the claims asserted against them. We attended two (2) hearings, where I preserved appellate issues by securing a court reporter. I filed multiple written motions to dismiss and other legal defenses in both hearings. I filed notices of appeal, communicated with appellate body (City Council), and attended their appeal hearing. I explained to this client the nature of the hearing (no witness, just review of the record and legal argument: 10 minute time limit), the likelihood of success at this level, and follow on steps to appeal to a court of record (Superior Court). I take my responsibility as a client's representative very seriously, and am saddened by this client's statements that are inconsistent with the written and electronic record of our communications and efforts on his part.
"I endorse this lawyer. Chris is a very skilled litigator in both criminal and civil cases. I have had cases with Chris in the past and he has always represented his client to the fullest and did all he could to protect his client's rights. Chris knows the law and he knows how to fight for his clients."
"I have known Chris personally and professionally for years. He is one of the most fearless and imposing attorneys I know. His intellect is unmatched and he can always seem to find an angle on a case that will cut the feet out from under an opponent. Oppose him at your own risk."
"I have known Mr. McClurg since back before I even knew I wanted to be a lawyer. Mr. McClurg is a very talented and skilled trial attorney, he has helped and mentored me on many occasion. His advice has always been warmly received and is almost always useful. I, T.W., endorse this lawyer."
"Chris is an exceptionally strong advocate for his clients. He's very well versed in the law, and fights the hard fight for his clients. He has tremendous experience, and has my full endorsement."
"Chris' zeal and advocacy define legal tenacity. His clients truly benefit from his keen understanding of the law and the nuances thereof - nuances most other lawyers routinely overlook. Chris is consistently looking for every advantage for his clients. The sheer depth of Chris' compassion for his clients and their needs is astounding. He never leaves any stone unturned in his quest to find remedies to his clients' complex legal issues. If you are considering an attorney for any legal concern, I highly recommend that you hire Chris McClurg."
"Mr. McClurg is very professional in handling his clients' cases and in working with opposing counsel. He is fair and reasonable in his negotiations and represents his clients' interests to the best of his abilities."
"I endorse this lawyer. Chris and I have worked together on several cases and he brings to each matter a wealth of experience, keen legal insight, and tireless advocacy for each client. Recently, we handled a personal injury case which settled, without the need for a trial, for $200,000.00, which also meant that our client did not have to go to trial and re-live a horrible experience all over again. As a C.P.A. and a licensed Georgia attorney, as well as previous experience working for a Fortune 500 company, Chris brings his unique education, experience, and practical solutions to each legal matter and for each client. He is always glad to proceed to trial, but realizes that a trial is not always in a client's best interest. Chris has also been lead counsel with me on several other types of cases, such as family law, probate, business, criminal defense, and appellate. In each case, Chris has brought his unique insight and energy to bear for the good of our clients."
"Chris does outstanding work for his clients. He has a keen sense for strategy and knows the law. Chris takes assertive positions in court, and applies unique perspective on cases. I strongly endorse him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Chris is an absolutely fearless attorney who isn't afraid to represent clients, no matter the circumstances. I've worked with Chris, and against Chris, and can recommend him without reservation."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I worked with Chris on a guardianship matter. He did an outstanding job for his client and I would be quite happy to refer work to Chris in the future."
