Elder Law & Life Care Planning - A Practice With Purpose
Attention and Intention - two words that steer my personal and professional direction. Being a family member, first as a daughter, sister, and then mother and wife, has fortified the meaning behind these words for me and actually transforms their importance from words to purpose. I take the positions I hold in my family and in my community to heart and in this way, nothing has given me greater joy!
Sustenance comes from loving and living with purpose...eating well, remaining active with a solid-paced run through our neighborhood with my husband for a good endorphin release!
With appreciation for every day,
Helayne

North Carolinians in Cumberland County and beyond are blessed to have, in Helayne Payne, a highly skilled, and caring, estate planning and elder law attorney. Her legal expertise is deep, and she readily appreciates how the blackletter law impacts real people and real families planning their estates, and dealing with difficult situations like incompetency and guardianship. Having her counsel when families need it most realizes the ideal of the lawyer as a servant of the community. For these reasons, I am very glad to endorse my colleague.

She was an engaged and passionate student who wanted to learn as much as she could to enable her to fully serve her elderly clients.
