It was obvious in court that he is very well respected by the judges, other attorneys, and even the police officers who arrested me. He knew how to lighten the mood in a tense courtroom, yet always maintained complete professionalism. He has a thorough knowledge of the law, which was evident when he informed me of new changes in case law that occurred on the same day we had court. He was very honest and realistic about my case, and made sure I was aware of the potential outcomes. I knew my case could have gone either way, and I fully expected to have this on my record. He was patient and rescheduled my case until he felt we would be in front of the right people to have the best possible outcome. His demeanor in court was very courteous, while still being direct and making his argument seem like the obvious conclusion. A little over a year and several trips to court later, he won the hearing and my case was dismissed. Regardless of the outcome, I still would have chosen Mr. Brotherton and written this same review. I am so thankful to him and his staff, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing an experienced attorney!
