About Michael
Biography
As the son of a minister, I have always been dedicated to helping others. Since 1970 when I first became a lawyer, I have been privileged to represent thousands of people and make sure they were treated fairly.
I attended Wake Forest for college and law school; I met my wife, Kathy, on campus. We married after knowing each other 3 months and have been together now for more than 45 years.
We have a wonderful dog, Jazzy, an 8 year-old mixed breed who is shown in a number of my TV ads.
I have been fortunate to obtain record verdicts in several NC counties. I have been recognized by both Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers for many years for my abilities in Personal Injury Litigation and in Eminent Domain.
I believe stongly in fighting to obtain justice for our clients and am grateful every day for the opportunity to do so.
